was taken into administration here in the U.K. a couple of months ago.

SAD DAY.

We now have an empty shop in the High Street

No Woolworth in High Street? that is sad, Roger, that such an interesting old store is closing up shop in these economic times.

too bad they didn't just pack up and go online! I wonder if that would have been their solution?

Hi Beth,

They did try but left it too late.

We really miss the shop already as it was in such an important position. The nearby shops have halved their takings.

Times move on but sometimes it feels wrong.
