	With all that Adlandpro has to offer a marketer, There is no reason for anyone to have to spam anyones forum topics. Here,, We have up to 3 forums of our own,, A "Offers/Request" of which you can post on everyday. And Many dedicated members who have invited us all to post our business in thier forums!! Katheryn, Georgios, Lanell, Joe and John and Many more!! The Direct Contact allows us all to contact everyone on our friends list with any opportunity and It Works!! This is a Pay system,, But WELL worth it. There is the Monthly Adlander and Local FREE listings. Many tend to forget the opportunity here. We are always going to have new members to PM us and occasionaly they will post in off topic forums,, But WE must educate the new users in a nice way. Mail them and let them know the ethical way. If you have been PM'd with an offer,, Do what I do,, Offer something back. That is the ONLY time you will ever see me PM a offer. Peace, Sharon

	Hi Kathy, It is more than just a pity when things have come to the stage at AdlandPro that you feel the need for a forum like this one. The constant posting of adverts in forums is to my way of thinking discourteous to the forum owner, off topic and has a generally negative effect on the Community as a serious business forum. When I first joined it was not essential to post on the forum decription "No Ads" but nowadays it certainly is. The worst part about the flood of adverts is that people lose interest in the forums as they have no content worth reading. So the forums lose their effectiveness as a networking tool, inside and outside the Community. And then the whole thingis being turned into a personal issue when it is only a question of business ethics, as appears to be the case here. And this is unprofessional and detrimental to all MEMBERS. Our only choices to stop receiving a very sitme consuming flood of unwanted ads are blocking or complaints to CFC - which leaves a bad taste in the mouth for all concerned - when a little common sense and personal restraint would solve the problem Sharon and Jerilyn have expressed the situation very well. New members follow the example of old members. Veteran members must lead by example. We are given a lot of leeway at ALP in comparison with some other forums. It is important therefore than we do not abuse this leeway and destroy the goose that laid the golden egg. Sharon says "I guess that is how we gain "Power" in adland?? Sorry Kathy,, I like you,,You are a caring person. But this is not right." Well this has nothing to do with free or gold memberships Kathy - we all are bound by the same TOS and expectations of our ethics and behaviour on and off forum. But if the community continues to suffer from this spait of ads in the wrong place - including PMs Then the Community becomes laughable as a serious busness community and loses its value and effectiveness on the Net - so what value in being the Number One, Two or Three? You are not the only sinner - the list certainly include certain other members who Jerilyn has mentioned and a few more besides - some of whom are far too senior to use accident as an excuse. Especially when it comes to PMs It is time some members reassess where they are going at ALP and look in the mirror before talking about Community Spirit and friendship. Nothing personal, but you did ask. Saludos Jenny p.s. And Kathy I use this logo, not to compete with you on the subject of angels at Adland! But because it is the business logo of my offline business which I advertise on the internet!!! I am not an angel - I paint them!

	In regards to spamming. There is of course a right way to do it and a wrong way. When you add something of value on the forum topic and include it as part of your signature line or a little blurb before your signature line. The people that read your post will either resonate with what you wrote or they won't. The ones that get it will have found value in your writing and will seek you out. Hence clicking more of your links. They will look to your for guidance or morsels and follow the breadcrumbs. This is my preference. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Thanks in advance for reading this.
