Hey John, Thanks for Sharing and Caring. This is such a highly charged emotional subject that I am even afraid to approach it with a long stick. But, I can only speak of my "It's Over" Experience. The hurt you speak of seems to run so deep that you seems to want to sever the bonds with a butcher's knife. When our time came, the only question was Who moves out of the house? I had no regrets, no hard feelings. We continue to be best of friends and supportive of each other. There are circumstances where you can't cut the string entirely - there maybe children involved..Group Insurance and Mortgage Payments to make. Love is "Never Having To Say You're Sorry" regardless of the outcome of your experience. To forgive and forget will heal most wounds. We were never promised a Rose Garden, or even so, I would have taken that with a grain of salt.. The world is not built on Level Ground and sometimes a partner will slip and fall (many times), - but its' human to err..no one is perfect or is expected to be. Love You Much. Hi Max, John Here, Thank you for sharing your own experience, and yes you are quite right about children being invovled. My ex has had no contact with our children, she never was the maternal mother to them I'm sorry to say, so once our marriage was over, the children never received birthday or christmas presents from their mother. They suffered terribly because of this over the years, and yes I myself overcompensated by sacrificing much to ease that pain for them. Alas I cannot replace the love they should have been getting from their mother. All I could do was make sure they certainly had all of mine. I hold no bitterness or malice, as I have emerged a stronger and wiser person. Love and Peace John Elliott aka Oaky Wood and Luells May

Hi John, So many times life gets in the way, and until everyone realizes that YOU are the only person who can make YOU happy, there will be breakups and heartache. Only you are responsible for yourself, do not ever expect someone else to make you happy.

Hi John, Rejection, we all go through it, but I think in a lot of cases it makes us a lot stronger. And it certainly wouldn't hurt to read your article before you have to go through rejection.LOL But seriously, that article will probably give hope to a lot of people who are going through a bad time. Thank you, John. Your Good Friend Deborah
