That thread was for me then but Jim's had his fair share of being bashed too.

Hello Mary Evelyn, Peter, Geketa, and All Viewers and Participants to this forum,

As you can see by the posts in Photo of the Week forum.  It appears, that NOW the Photo of the Week will continue, under the oversight of Roger Macdivitt
.  I applaud Roger, for stepping up to the plate requesting that responsibility.  I am sure it will quickly become the most popular of the two POTW's ;-). 

I will support the Photo of the Week contest as best I can from my BANNED Because She Could Status. 

What a childish response and action. 

Are we sure we want this type of leadership for our fame Person of the Week forum?!  

I surely Hope Not! 

I hope the community, NOW sees through the shallow persona of someone seeking personal gain, and not interested in serving the community at all!

I am real happy to see that the Photo of the Week contest and showcase shall continue.

Jim there are a LOT of people locked out of

participating in the POTW. I know that there

needed to be some safe guards put in place

and I'll be the first to admit it, to keep people

from cheating, but to ban everyone who doesn't

have an active forum is totally unreasonable.

As I told Kathleen in a PM, all we need are

more mindless forums to get notifications in

our  inbox about. True, we do have a few great

forums that I enjoy. The reason I never started

one is because I don't have a clue what topic to

use. I'm sure I'm not the only one and I don't

think very many people are going to start a forum,

that don't already have one, just to be able to

nominate someone in a contest.

Even though I have no desire to be POTW, I would

like to be able to support my friends who do like to

be involved.
