Hi Arthur,

Thanks for stopping in and adding your wisdom to my forum!  That's another point of the hard work already being done by one person (the program owner) and then he  hands it off to thousands of drones so he can sit back and rake in the money while most of them run around like chickens with their heads cut off.  Most affiliate sales are made by a handful of affiliates who run their advertising like a well-oiled machine, the other 98% of them just throw out hit or miss ads all over the place.

Kathleen:

When AdlandPro sends your message out, with a brief description, it gives the reader an option to "click here".   "Click here" takes you directly to your post in the forum thread, not to the forum itself.

I never go back and read the forum description because I'm reading your post cause that's where your post message took me.

So if you want people to read your forum description, either include it in your post or include a note in your post to read the forum description before posting.

Not one to waste time,

Vel

Hi Vel,

This is mostly about people posting ads in reply to other peoples' posts.  That's generally not acceptable unless stated as such.  I started this thread last week after several people came in posting ads in reply to other peoples' posts without even reading the previous post to see if they were staying on topic.  One of those people was spamming lots of forums with the same copied & pasted ad for several days, even in forums that were not for advertising.  It's just common courtesy to find out what a thread is about before plopping down an ad without even making an effort to read the previous post and reply on topic.

Oh, Sorry I did not realize they were posting Ads on top of ads.  So they are not even reading the post they followed.  How sad and desperate they must be.  What a shame.  Well it sounds like a one on one educational opportunity for you.
