Thanks for the invitation, Mary. I'm sure all you gardening enthusiasts would love to create a professional looking garden that will be the envy of your friends and family, with Summer Annuals, Perennials, Herb and Salad plants and even naturally beautiful Landscapes then watch their eyes pop in amazement when they see your garden in full bloom and you tell them that it was all done from a book! You won't even believe it yourself. ____________________________________ See the catalogue for these amazing gardens at: http://future-world.com/cgi-bin/category/10003/gardencat

James,

Of all the poems about the garden, you picked my favorite and you typed it in green to commemorate all the lovely green growing in the garden.

You are so special.

Hi Mary,

What a nice idea for a forum. I live in the UK here we are known for our love of gardening My garden is very well established with trees and shrubs. At the bottom I have created a wildlife section with some wildflowers to attract butterflies and insects to help our feathered friends (of which we have a lot). I am sitting at the computer looking ou the window at a beautiful Silver Birch.

In the front garden we have perennials, and tubs and hanging baskets filled with annuals, and climbing up the porch is a clematis. We have had unusally hot weather this year so watering takes quite a time. We have also had thunder storms which caused a bit of damage to some of the plants (and knocked a load of flowers off my beans).

I cannot think of anything more pleasant after a day indoors, than sitting in the garden with a glass of wine listening to the birds singng.

Kind regards,

Tina
