Hello Shannon, I have to agree with you on the point that you made about people campaigning ourside Adlandpro for POTW. I have also noticed this trend as well. I came across Adlandpro members in the Chatroom canvasing for votes and one said that someone should not be getting a vote in POTW and suggesting another candidate also on the nomination list. In my Adlandpro Direct Contact posts (I am a paid member) recently, I have received messages from other Adlandpro members campaigning for votes for POTW. I do not like the Direct Contact feature to be used as a campaign tool. Adlandpro is not a political organisation. It is a Business organisation and POTW candidates should be elected on their own merits about what they have done to help people in the community. I try to vote every week for POTW and I do consider my vote very carefully. I will continue to be impartial in my voting and vote for the person on their merits, not on their individual personality. Sincerely, Christine Gleeson CurrencyLass Sydney, Australia

Hi Linda, Thanks for this post. It looks like a can of worms are eating away at the honest efforts of the organisers and the honest members. It has shown me that once again - Perception can be a long way short of Reality. I am also indebted to your friends for their honest views, although I feel that to have not raised the issue would have been wrong. How else would I have learned of the issue? As I said at the begining: This thing would run and run! Was I ever right?? I can't believe the playground poitics I've been reading here, I'm going to lighten the tone a little and inject some humour back into this forum. Because life is just a circle: we reap as we sow: what goes around comes around! Peoples opinions on success might sound different. However, at the end of the day they're all the same! At age 4 success is . . . not piddling in your pants. At age 12 success is . . . having friends. At age 17 success is . . . having a drivers licence. At age 35 success is . . . having money. At age 50 success is . . . having money. At age 70 success is . . . having a drivers licence. At age 75 success is . . . having friends. At age 80 success is . . . not piddling in your pants! I hope that this will soothe some savage breasts out there! Try and enjoy the rest of your day! There are much more important things in life than POTW!! (Like starving children!)

Hi Ian, Then I will claim success as, at age 71, I'm still playing 2 person (on a side) beach volleyball in Manhattan Beach, Cal. A task which professional beach volleyball players say, "If you can play in the deep sands of Manhattan Beach, you can play anywhere.' And just as Wimbelton, England is the "holy grail" of tennis, Manhattan Beach, Cal. is the same to beach volleyball players.
