Hello John, This is Luella. What a touching post. Thank you so very much for sharing it with us. It is much, much worse when a man gets depressed, resulting in low self esteem, as it affects his ego. Thank you so very much for relating your experience and how you chose to act in a more positive manner from that moment on. The results were almost instantaneous. Unless it is a very extreme case where a chemical imbalance is the reason for the depression and low self esteem, it is a matter of choice as to how the person will act and present themselves. Results will be seen in a short span of time and, in time, this behavior pattern will become a habit. Kindest regards, Luella May and John Elliott, aka Oaky Wood

Hello Max! LOL! This is Luella. I would say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your self esteem. And you say you are a Taurus? Well, maybe some choices to mellow a bit might be in order, as running headlong into a brick wall can get a little achy after a while. But then, for a Taurus.....? Maybe not. Hello Patricia, This is Luella. Your post has touched me deeply, as yes, sometimes the hurt and damage done to one's self esteem and to even one's very sense of being cannot be rectified with just a simple decision. I come from that background. My journey to a positive life took eight years. Sometimes the decision to become a positive person with self esteem does, indeed, include finding outside help. I am going to include links to to two articles that I have written on Luella's Corner. The first is "My Lost Years" that recounts my eight year struggle to live some semblance of a happy life. http://oakwoodgrafix.co.uk/blog/Articles/MyLostYears_LM.html The second link tells about the major cause that led to my illness. There were also other factors involved later in life. However, by the time I was 18, a good portion of the damage had been done. http://oakwoodgrafix.co.uk/blog/Articles/GoodbyeForever_LM.html Kindest regards,
