Thank you Joyce, for a long time I searched for Jake among the mature Starlings that would land in our yard. I want to believe that he grew to be a handsome male and mated with a beautiful female and they had many babies that he taught the story to.

Yes, the crows seem to be as plentiful as any bird species. Once when I was around 18 or so, I went to the Fort Worth zoo w/ one of my friends, & there was a crow there that would say "whatcha got in the bag?" It was so funny, because we didn't realize who was saying it until we look up & was the crow sitting on a branch. Like you said, all the creatures can keep one entertained as we observe them.
