obviously a very very long quote! I am sorry for not being here and saying my thoughts on this very important topic, but it would seem that outside forces are determined to leash their poison on the world and I have been talking to people about it and to see what can be done!

In very simple words, I like it, it is more professional looking and as they say, we wont know if something works unless it is given a try and then tweak as time goes on.
On the issue of people being active...the important thing at least for me is that people learn to leverage ( it truly is my favorite word right now) social media in a way to "brand" not only yourselves via relevant and quality posting and then putting it into the netverse ( is that a real word?) and then linking it back to your home base, which for many is Adland.
Once people see the value of Adland, using this kind of strategy, then it will be a win win situation for everyone.
I hope my comment will be of benefit to others as that is all I am really attempting to do... give benefit and to help.

Hi Dennis, Voting Thread is The Voting Thread and keeping it in prospective and related to that is the main topic and what you want people to do. VOTE! "Requesting to be Nominated" I think should be your new campaign wording as it does not sound so self motivated as Self Nomination. I think it may have a litle more impact when people see: "Request To Be Nominated" Member suggestions by others and Members that want to be there can all be built with one thread that is already here. Just rename it and rebuild the opening page so all visitors will see that they can suggest other members for the voting or request to be nominated with all the rules in the opening page. Try not to complicate the rules with a bunch of details. To me it is to easy. You want to run or you don't, and there are only a couple or requirements that follow. Hi Mark i"m back to my laptop a corupt wimdow file on my mail pc. yes that is what we would of done if we build a forum or add thw self nominations to the potw threads it would a request not a demand.from there the potw team would view the request first post first looked over the ones then qualify are chosen for potw. we can add what ever we think will help but i would like to get this started and move on to another topic.that is why i offered to make the self nomination forum.i guess i'm partly on the potw team anyway. the next topic will be the 100 friends offered to new signups.this will take a bit of time plus forums. dennis i hate this laptop put it's doing it's job i was only using it for netflix movies

Where was i ok i think the self nomination should take affect in the next POTW.
Jim likes the idea so do most of us.Let's not Sweat the Small Stuff and get it going by anxt POTW as a test to how this may build the POTW Forum.
We need activity in adlandpro and the POTW is just a small part of the whole community.
We need to place features in the community to keep those members active or loose out in the long run.
