Dennis,
That sounds great, and it could lead to lots more longterm members coming back to volunteer to be part of the random 100 given to new members, then that would help build everyone's friendship list. That could eventually become a pool of thousands to volunteer to be in the random 100 friends for new people!
I also think new members should be given a welcome letter or something from admin, to let them know what there is to do in the community, such as the link to the Forums area so they can see the Interesting Forums and Active Forums and all the categories below that, and directions to scroll down to see recent posts, or click the blue "Posts" bar at the bottom left.
Quote: Another Glitch Adlandpro could easily fix to keep new members
Get this a new member joins adlandpro Without a friend (There Alone)
So why stay if your alone.Who are they going to market with. There prime targets for the Spammers.
It takes time to build a friend list so they drift off into cyber space never to be seen again. And Adlandpro ends up with another inactive account taking up space.Nothing written in there about me box.No forums joined (Nothing but a signup and not even a profile Picture.
Why because no list (No Friends) no nothing to keep them here for long.
So How to hope to keep a % of these People
A good way to get them started is too offer them 100 active adlanders on there new adlandpro account.
I would be the first to join any new member as a friend.Heck saves me from asking them to be friends.Could be all automatic 100 chosen Adlandpro members could volunteer to be added to every new account.
These new members would have 100 new friends right from the start. Plus We in this Forum and other active adlandpro members could guide these new members down the right path here in the Adlandpro Community.
