Thanks for your comment. And you are correct it takes two and usually one from either side. No matter if you are in the congress or a world stage where it often takes a few more than two.
What are we selling?
Exposure, notoriety, an introduction to the world. As you well know, Rudy, AdlandPro's POTW Award is an International Award. Your celebration thread stands to rise to the top of the SERPS and if you plan right your SEO could get a boost from a high PR backlink. I have not checked recently but I am sure these threads carry a High PR. Therefore the exposure and Personal Branding POTW Award Winners receive can be quite invaluable.
What are we buying?
New relationships, further expansion of our brands and yes it's okay to say it notoriety. Notoriety brings traffic and that is something we all wish for with our forums and various posts. Yes, even if you ain't in a "business" we are buying in a sense.
