Mark,

Adlandpro Community is about networking, and the election is supposed to be a community gathering, a focal point, and the profile links for the nominees are supposed to promote networking.

I was surprised a couple weeks ago when 2 longterm members posted in the election thread that they didn't want to vote because they didn't know any of the 4 nominees, even though one of those nominees was a previous winner, and the profile links have been part of the election process for over 6 years and both of those members who said they didn't want to vote have also been here about that long. When 2 longterm members make the first 2 posts about not voting, that's not a good example for other longterm members or new members, when it's as simple as clicking the profile links for more info about nominees. If people don't want to vote, then they just don't vote, but I don't see any reason to post about not voting because of not knowing nominees YET, that discourages other people, especially when it's the first AND second post in the election poll.

It's not about not being able to find the Adlandpro election, hundreds of people know it occurs every week and know exactly how and where to find it. Everyone also knows how to click profile links and send friendship invitations and messages and look thru previous forum posts.

There's a loyal core of people here who vote consistently, post to forums consistently and keep our forums active consistently and encourage people to vote consistently, week after week, month after month, year after year. Consistency is the key to success in Adlandpro Community, in networking and in the election process.

Thank you Kathy!

Thank you Mark and Dennis!

Wow! I made it high up in the optimization google search for Adlandpro Learning Center.

Join the Bweeble Team in AdLandPro

BTW Mark! I am also looking forward to hearing from Admin. but the last update from Bogdan said that Barry was in and out of the hospital. I am sure he will be glad to see all of the input and attention this forum is getting. He might also be open to getting help in running the forum.

Make it a great day,

Ken

Here's help for people who want to make nominations either here in public or by sending a message to the POTW Team.

It's a good idea to provide the link to the nominee's profile and also check the criteria of log-in and active forum and making sure they haven't won in this calendar year before making nominations
so the POTW Team doesn't have to do it:

* Person's Name

* URL to their profile link

* Last Activity should be within the last 30 days

* Click the "Forums" link on the person's profile and scroll down to "Forums I Own" and see if they own at least one,
and click on it to see if it's an active forum.

* Not a winner within this calendar year (below is a list of 2012 winners, so they can't be nominated again until 2013)

Hi Kathleen

You Got it my Deal Loyalty is the key to keeping the POTW Forum showing activity.
Bogdan just posted me saying it's worth a try so it is in the works.
Barry not feeling good these days needed us to kick in and find a way to have our adlamdpro members at least drop in the POTW Forum.
I've already seen that people get those invites the POTW team sends out throughout adlandpro. The link is in there message inboxes om the community and there emails.Still many don't come in and vote it's 10 to 1 against. So reminding them doesn't have them vote.
Your plan to post in other communities like FB and Twitter and those places to vote for adlandpro's POTW is a way to keep the Forum active.A few of us are doing it that can also be placed on the POTW Forum in Tweet,Like.,Digg, and others easily hit by the ADP members.
Anything we do is going to help.Any help we grab from the adlandpro members cannot hurt this slowed down POTW forum.
WE need the numbers once we build the numbers a % of those numbers will vote (TWEET)(LIKE)(DIGG)and so on.

TY
Dennis
