Linda, Excellent clarification and I do understand and follow a good set of values. They are good common sense to me for the most part. My point was to highlight some other views that have come to my attention from members in this community. I care a great deal about the methods I use to generate my income.

HI Gary, I only mentioned the grenade to show there wasn't one. If I were intending on doing things such as that, I would revert to my training and pull out the ghille suit, get about a klick away, remove the scope covers, take very careful aim, then slowly squeeze the trigger, it's a whisper through the ears, as in one side and out the other. A single shot, nice and silent. No big boom that takes out everything within a 10 foot radius. Besides who wants to dance with a live grenade bouncing around I have found they tend to vacate a room pretty quickly when they are tossed.

Hi Jack, Yes you are correct you did mention it previously I just thought posting the terms and the speficics of them might have been needed which was the same route I took when mentioning the Pay Pal terms.

Wow, This is an amazing forum thread. I've read and enjoyed all the posts here. It's great to be able to discuss this openly. I'm going to add something that I've learned in my experience with the auto surf programs. It pretty much directly relates to Greer's comment . Greer writes: "I think it's fair to say that ALL of them have an element of ponzi to them, by their very design." This is very true. But, only for the "Daily" autosurf scripts. I wrote before how these are set up like a typical auto surf program, but with a ponzi scheme built in. The script that these sites use can be purchased from, ljscripts.com If you have no problem with investing in a ponzi, then maybe these sites are for you. But, the reason everone promotes these types of sites like crazy is because they have money invested, not because they have a chance for an affiliate payment. There are other paid to surf sites that are not set up to pay "Daily" interest at all. These sites are the one's to join if you want to advertise and avoid the risk of losing your investment. There are sites that are actually designed to be pretty darn good for advertising, which is the purpose of a traffic exchange to begin with. For example, I'm currently crediting members who use the manual traffic exchange at my site with .04 cents a day if they surf 45 sites. This is available to all members without any investment. The cash earned can be used to purchase advertising in the form of text ads, paid to click ads, or banners. ALL members have the ability to earn 20% commissions on advertising sales as well. They can sell advertising to non-members. Yes, my site is a "pay to surf". But there are many differences between my site and others like it and the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, "daily" interest scheme sites. Lingo

It's this; ========================================== There are other paid to surf sites that are not set up to pay "Daily" interest at all. ========================================== This is very true. There are MANY kinds of traffic programs and people tend to lump them all together. They are NOT the same. -- 1) there are traffic programs that are really just a disguise for the "money making" program. The traffic is just members hitting other members sites, and it's worthless traffic. Completely worthless. Anyone that thinks it's real traffic is making a mistake. The traffic is a "front" for the moneymaking so they can disguise the pyramid aspect of the program. -- 2) there are "autosurf" programs, in which a software program sends hits to a webserver. Those are also useless. A piece of software can send a hit to a website, but a piece of software isn't a person. It can't "sign up" and it can't "buy." -- 3) There are traffic programs where real live people have a list of links to click on. They do offer real eyeballs - but anyone using them must remember that the traffic is not targetted, AND the people clicking the links have a list of sites to visit, so if yours isn't MEGA compelling - the results won't be much good. This method is better than the above two, but still won't get much results because the clickers are more interested in getting through their clicking than buying what you sell. I think most people that use traffic programs are using them because they don't know how to market their website. If they knew how to market their site, they would not need a traffic program. The irony of it is that traffic programs are the most INeffective way to get traffic. I have found 1 & 2 above to be totally useless if traffic is what you are looking for. #3 can work if you are a talented marketer and know how to grab eyeballs, because at least there are "real live people" viewing the sites -- but most people will have poor results with them because they don't know how to use them. For starters, they need to create specific landing pages that capture interest in 10 seconds or less, not just send traffic to their main page. But most don't do that. A traffic program in the hands of an experienced marketer versus a novice marketer is like the difference between a paintbrush in the hands of Da Vince versus the Average Joe. Most people view them as a shortcut. They're not. They're a tool that work best if you know the craft of marketing. : ) Linda
