Hi Cheri; ======================================= Now we really ARE off topic, but if you, Bob or David don't want to do a word forum, I will. I think it would be great fun. Hope you'll all participate. ======================================= Two things, backwards... 1) I think a word forum could be fun. We'd need to tie one hand behind Gary's back and take his thesaurus and dictionary away, though. LOL (kidding - he doesn't NEED them. LOL) 2) The neat thing about going off topic a little here and there is that it shows people are really interacting.... and that's when some of the best brainstorming happens and some of the best ideas come up. The human mind works a lot like a game of pong, bouncing thoughts off each other and other thoughts. If we can get some of that happening here, I'd be the proudest of all! : ) Linda P.S. It's only if a forum goes off topic in a negative way that I'd nix that and put it back on track. Otherwise, I'm all for any brain aerobics that come out of these threads.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, Come on you guys. I'm not THAT bad. OK. I confess. Here's why... Many moons ago I started a W.O.D. - Word of the Day in a very large public service building that I worked in. It started small but eventually I had everyone sticking their head in my office to see what the word was. It was great fun. Eventually, I had to post it in a very prominent place to stop the interruptions. But even then people would pop their head in and yakkity-yak about it. Soon, people from all over the building were running to the dictionary, finding the meaning then using it in conversation. It was quite hilarious the ingenious ways people would "slip" the word in. We would then print a circular at the end of each month with all the words and their definitions and pass that around too. I actually started it because I was a proof-reader and editor and it was part of my job to make sure that letters sent to Government Ministers made sense. Let me tell you - re-writing other people's letters makes lots of folks really narky. But, hey, it was my job and I took it seriously. The W.O.D. was a bit of a defuser to stop people hating me for what I did. Once the idea was up and running it certainly was a LOT of fun. But the fantastic thing was the fact that it became so educational. People were learning. It was increasing vocabularies not only at the office but also outside within families and over telephone conversations. So Cheri, I'm all for it. You can start it if you want and you will have one member already - me. I have never been afraid to be a funambulist. (Linda - no! I know you know. heh... heh...) Gary Simpson

Gary, OK, here it is: http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShow.aspx?ForumID=9821 Extra points if the winner chooses as the next word one that's related to the first but different enough to lead us away from the first one. I.e., not a synonym. Cheri

Hi: Just to add a note to the paypal randomizer part... (lol) I went to this url: http://www.money4urandomizer.com which is the one many people promote here at Adland. On the main page it says; Total Users : 146 Best Sponsor- admin : (64 signups.) Total PayoutSponsor Payments: $605 Random Payments: $570 Total Payments: $1175 Does this sound like anyone is making good money? (lol) Why would anyone risk having their paypal account shut down for such a small amount of profit? : ) Linda
