Thanks for coming by here and expressing your support.  I'm sure that as you said even the chimps who have escaped, must be happier breathing the sweet air of freedom.   More importantly though...the hearts and souls of men & women everywhere long for freedom from the oppression of those who want to control them.   My hope and prayer is that everyone will not only hear the bells of freedom ringing in their souls, but will one day be able to experience freedom for themselves.  I'm very thankful that I've been incredibly blessed to live where I live, & I share my joy with all my friends here at Adland.

Hi there my friends,

Somtimes life is fragile and it still needs to be nurtured...that's how it is with freedom!  Freedom needs to be nurtured and cared for.  Especially in the areas of the world where there is a battle going on between the powers that be & the people who want to have the freedom to exist and seek their own dreams, desires and self expression. 

We've seen the need for this in the latest clamp down in Iran, where thousands and thousands took to the streets after an election frought with deceit and error.  The people who placed their ballots to only have them be thrown away by a despot regime that declared itself the winner barely 2 hours after the final ballot was cast.  How ridiculous for the government to think they could fool the people.  We as one of the most sophistocated election processes can't even know how many votes were cast until many hours and days afterwards sometimes. 

Now, most everything coming out of Iran has been stiffled and repressed.  I have many concerns for the people there.  Don't you? 

It's thought that Iranians who have opposed this election are now being slaughtered by the thousands.  Please pray with me for these people who are so hungry for freedom.  They carried English signs, why did they do this?  Obviously, they could have written their signs in their own language...but they needed our support...at least verbally.  We as a nation have always done this.  Why not now? Do you think about these things like I do? 

Wishing the best for you and yours...Hoping the best for our freinds around the world...Praying for the best outcome & asking for strength for those who face incredible odds against unjust governments in hopes of attaining freedom to see a day where they don't have to ask the government what they should believe.

May Freedom Ring!!!

I'm sorry that I didn't notice your message sooner. I can only say that life has been so busy and my attention so focused on my primary business that I've had no time for anything else.
I guess if I wasn't having so much fun I'd have been paying more notice ;-)

Thanks for coming by...you are always welcome, no matter when you arrive.  I'm glad that our Canadian neighbors know what it is to live where you want & to pursue the dreams that you have.  Freedom rings in many places, & hopefully one day it will ring loud and clear everywhere! From the mountains to the valleys & everywhere in between.

Hi Pat,

I just love that YouTube video you posted.  Thanks for sharing it here.  I am proud to be an American, & I enjoy the freedoms that many fought so hard for.  Like Johnny says "this land was made for you and me"...meaning all are welcome who come here seeking freedom and opportunity.  Even with the economy the way it is, my belief is that there is still so much opportunity here for one and all!  May we all attain our dreams and never give up on our freedoms.  We hold them dear and I pray that we'll always remember those who gave so much on our behalf.

Thanks again, & hugs to Sophie and Snickers.  Those cats look like they are just waiting for a reason to party!  :-)

Like Thomas posted in his forum...Thomas Jefferson and John Adams actually signed the Declaration of Independence on August 2, 1776.  Interesting fact, don't you think.   (I loved this graphic Thomas posted...thanks Thomas in his forum) So we still have plenty of time to celebrate!  In fact, we can celebrate this as long as we want to.  We have the freedom to do so...& to remember this special holiday anytime we choose to.  Don't you love it!
