Hello Evelyn, Gaby & Friends,
Thank you both for your excellent articles and thoughts. It's important to keep our ability to distinguish between teleprompter rhetoric, propaganda and outright lies to the truth that's staring us in the face. Lucky we do have alternative sources of information and aren't dependent on the progressive MSM stooges that are trying to demonize everything good and applaud everything that's outright evil.
Don't you love it when a MSM attack backfires on them. They've been hounding and pillorizing Sarah Palin ever since she came on the international political scene. Now that she's on her nationwide trip they've been waiting for her to trip up so that they could do their lethal pounce and say we were right she is soooooooo stupid. Well they thought her Paul Revere comment was just that case and boy did they pounce and cry we told you so. When it turned out that once again she was right and they were wrong did any of you see any apologies from MSM? Did I miss that??? I don't think so.
When I say a MSM attack backfiring I wasn't referring to the Paul Revere incident but to the release of her emails during her period as Governor of Alaska. WaPo and the once respected New York Times were publicly recruiting people to read through her emails and boy did that backfire on them. All they found out is that she was a good governor, kind, caring and a good executive. In addition they found out she's a very human and God fearing person that has respect for all of God's creations. In the below letter she wrote and sent out to family, friends and most probably for her self you'll see just how decent she is.
I'm not sure that she's going to run for President and if she does if she'll get my support but we sure could do worse and for that matter we've got the worst sitting in the White House right now and Sarah Palin would be a welcome change.
BTW, I wonder why the MSM never demanded all of B Hussein's email correspondence? I can assure you it'll be much more revealing and probably turn his most avid supporters into rabid detractors aside from the most progressive socialistic/communists amongst them. Ooooops, I forgot all his records are blocked by Presidential decree ........... did any of you supporters ever wonder why???
At the bottom of the below article is the full text of Sarah Palin's "letter" from God.
Shalom,
Peter
By Brian Clark Howard
- She addresses 'unreal, sad and confusing' news of son's Down's Syndrome
- Writes Trig 'may provide more challenges and more joy' than imagined
- Writes that others would have wanted to abort, or send sympathy
- Emails shows thoughtful, human side of controversial politician
Mother's love: Sarah Palin holds her son Trig, who has Down's Syndrome, at the Republican National Convention during her run for vice president Sarah Palin imagined God talking to her in a deeply touching email she wrote two weeks before her fifth child, Trig, was born with Down's Syndrome, it was revealed today. The poignant message to family and friends, included in 25,000 pages of her private emails made public on Friday, may alter the way the former Governor of Alaska is viewed by the American public.
In April 2008, two weeks before Trig was born with Down's Syndrome, Mrs Palin sent the email to her friends and family from her official government account.
In the touching message, Mrs Palin writes from the voice of God, as 'Trig's creator, your heavenly father'. She addresses the 'unreal, sad and confusing' news that her soon-to-be born child will have Down's Syndrome. The letter's existence had previously known, but only very brief excerpts had been made public. Writing as God, Mrs Palin wrote, 'I let Trig's mom have an exceptionally comfortable pregnancy so she could enjoy every minute of it...' She wrote, 'Trig's mom and dad' were told early by doctors that the child 'may provide more challenges and more joy than what they ever may have imagined or ever asked for. 'This new person in your life can help everyone put things in perspective... and get everyone focused on what really matters. The baby will expand your world and let you see and feel things you haven't experienced yet'. The letter also makes unlikely conspiracy theories that have long been circulating on blogs that Trig was actually born to Mrs Palin's unwed daughter Bristol. Its emergence today will also reinforce claims that, far from damaging Mrs Palin's presidential hopes, the dossier of emails have in fact helped her campaign by revealing a more human side to the controversial politician.
Family: Sarah Palin holds her son Trig, who has Down's Syndrome, surrounded by the rest of her family. Before he was born, she reassured them Sarah Palin with son Track and husband Todd, and daughters (left to right) Willow, Piper and Bristol Mrs Palin pointed out that Trig is a Norse name meaning both 'true' and 'brave victory', and wrote, 'He'll show you what true brave victory really means'. She also added, 'Trig is no different except that he has one extra chromosome. Doctors call it Down's Syndrome, and Down's kids have challenges but can bring you much delight and more love than you can ever imagine. Just wait and see, let me prove this'. She also wrote, 'Trig will be his dad's little buddy, and he'll wear Carhartts while he learns to tinker in the garage. 'He'll love to be read to, he'll want to play goalie and he'll steal his mom's heart just like Track, Bristol, Willow and Piper did. Scrutinized: Sarah Palin, seen campaigning with husband Todd Palin in 2008, sent thousands of emails from the governor's office in 2006 and 2008. Nearly 25,000 pages have now been released to the media
'Trig's mom and dad don't want people to focus on the baby's extra chromosome... many people won't understand, and I understand that. 'Some will think Trig should not be allowed to be born, because they fear a Down's child won't be considered "perfect" in your world'. Mrs Palin intones, 'What do you earthlings consider "perfect" or even "normal" anyway? Have you peeked down any grocery store isle [sic], or school hallway or into your office lunchroom lately? Have you noticed I make 'em all shapes and sizes? Believe me, there is no "perfect". Different tune: In the released emails, Sarah Palin comes across as more moderate and less ideological than when she ran with John McCain Mrs Palin is known to oppose abortion on ideological grounds, but her heartwarming comments may impress even her critics, and those who support abortion rights. She also wrote in the email, 'Many people will express sympathy, but you don't want or need that, because Trig will be a joy. You will have to trust me on this'. Mrs Palin also wrote, as God, 'Please look to me as this new challenge... I won't give you anything you can't handle. I'm giving you ONLY THE BEST'.
Mrs Palin resigned from the office of governor in July 2009, but is best known as being John McCain's surprise running mate during the 2008 presidential election. She is widely viewed as a polarizing figure, with deeply conservative views and a combative relationship with the media, which she often derides as 'lamestream'. In the thousands of released emails, however, she comes across largely as a less ideological figure.
She praised the 'great speech' by then-senator Barack Obama shortly before she entered the race against him, and became sharply critical of him.
She also wrote with many spelling errors, including 'store isle' above and 'nonsensicle'.
Mrs Palin also expressed exasperation at her critics, and even suggested she had thought about quitting as governor over the intense scrutiny about her family. On the rumours that Bristol was actually Trig's mother, Mrs Palin wrote, 'I wish I could shame people into ceasing such gossip about a teen, but can't figure out how to do that'. She also lamented the fact that politics is still a 'good ol' boys' network, who 'said the same thing throughout my career - "too young", "pregnant", "kids"..."she won't be able to do it"... and so far along in my career we've proved them wrong at every turn'. Not all the emails Mrs Palin sent have been released, with several thousand held back under 'executive privilege', but the picture that emerges is perhaps a bit more nuanced than her popular persona. n July 2008, Mrs Palin described herself as ‘at the breaking point’ from ‘hurtful gossip’ about her family by Wasilla blogger Sherry Whitstine. She wrote: ‘Guys, I may be pretty wimpy about this family stuff, but I feel like I'm at the breaking point with the hurtful gossip about my family that Sherry and others get away with. ‘Bear with me. I hate this part of the job and many days I feel like it's not worth it when they have to put up with the hate that spews from people like Sherry, and there are others'. Aide Rosanne Hughes responded: ‘Governor, do you know how loved you are? These four or five bitter people are so not representative'. MailOnline.com previously wrote, 'From attempting secretly to install a tanning bed in the governor's mansion, to complaining that her hair looked like a mullet, the emails offer an intimate portrait of a politician constantly concerned about image.
'Far from being the natural ‘hockey mom’ she would like us all to believe she is, the Tea Party darling comes across as concerned about her media portrayal as the archetypal politician'.
Mrs Palin went to lengths to try to conceal the fact that she had ordered a $35,000 tanning bed for the governor's mansion, which she says she paid for out of her own pocket. She also worried that her hair looked like a mullet, and complained about a photo of her husband on her website. Mrs Palin also forwarded death threats she had received to staff, without making comments on them.
The emails also hinted at how much scrutiny she received over the so-called Troopergate scandal, after she fired a police chief after he refused to sack a state trooper who had been through a fractious divorce with Mrs Palin’s sister. She wrote to an advisor: 'I do apologise if I sound frustrated with this one. It’s killing me to realise how misinformed leggies [legislators], reporters and others are on this issue.' SARAH PALIN'S COMPLETE LETTER TO HER FAMILY ABOUT TRIG
To the Sisters, Brother, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends of Trig Paxson Van Palin (or whatever you end up naming him!): I am blessing you with this surprise baby because I only want the best for you. I've heard your prayers that this baby will be happy and healthy, and I've answered them because Ionly want the best for you! I heard your heart when you hinted that another boy would fit best in the Palin family, to round it out and complete that starting five line-up. Though another girl would be so nice, you didn't think you could ask for what you REALLY wanted, but I knew, so I gave you a boy because I only want the best for you! Then, I put the idea in your hearts that his name should be "Trig", because it's so fitting, with two Norse meanings: "True" and "Brave Victory". You also have a Bristol Bay relative with that name, so I knew it would be best for you! Then, I let Trig's mom have an exceptionally comfortable pregnancy so she could enjoy every minute of it, and I even seemed to rush it along so she could wait until near the end to surprise you with the news - that way Piper wouldn't have so long to wait and count down so many days - just like Christmastime when you have to wait, impatiently, for that special day to finally open your gift? (Or the way the Palins look forward to birthday celebrations that go on for three, four days... you all really like cake .) I know you, I knew you'd be better off with just a short time to wait! Then, finally, I let Trig's mom and dad find out before he was born that this little boy will truly be a GIFT. They were told in early tests that Trig may provide more challenges, and more joy, than what they ever may have imagined or ever asked for. At first the news seemed unreal and sad and confusing . But I gave Trig' s mom and dad lots of time to think about it because they needed lots of time to understand that everything will be OK, in fact, everything will be great, because I only want the best for you! I've given Trig's mom and dad peace and joy as they wait to meet their new son. I gave them a happy anticipation because they asked me for that. I'll give all of you the same happy anticipation and strength to deal with Trig's challenges, but I won't impose on you... I just need to know you want to receive my offer to be with all of you and help you everyday to make Trig's life a great one.
This new person in your life can help everyone put things in perspective and bind us together and get everyone focused on what really matters . The baby will expand your world and let you see and feel things you haven't experienced yet. He'll show you what "true, brave victory" really means as those who love him will think less about self and focus less on what the world tells you is "normal" or "perfect". You will grow and be blessed with greater understanding that will be born along with Trig.
Trig will be his dad's little buddy and he'll wear Carhartts while he learns to tinker in the garage. He'll love to be read to, he'll want to play goalie, and he'll steal his mom's heart just like Track, Bristol, Willow and Piper did. And Trig will be the cuddly, innocent, mischievous, dependent little brother that his siblings have been waiting for in fact Trig will - in some diagnostic ways - always be a mischievous, dependent little brother, because I created him a bit different than a lot of babies born into this world today. Every child is created special, with awesome purpose and amazing potential. Children are the most precious and promising ingredient in this mixed up world you live in down there on earth. Trig is no different, except he has one extra chromosome. Doctors call it "Down's Syndrome", and Downs kids have challenges, but can bring you much delight and more love than you can ever imagine! Just wait and see, let me prove this, because I only want the best for you! Some of the rest of the world may not want him, but take comfort in that because the world will not compete for him. Take care of him and he will always be yours!
Trig's mom and dad don't want people to focus on the baby's extra chromosome. They're human, so they haven't known how to explain this to people who are so caring and are interested in this new little Alaskan. Sarah and Todd want people to share in the joy of this gift I'm giving to the Palin family, and the greater Alaska family. Many people won't understand... and I understand that. Some will think Trig should not be allowed to be born because they fear a Downs child won't be considered "perfect" in your world. (But tell me, what do you earthlings consider "perfect" or even "normal" anyway? Have you peeked down any grocery store isle, or school hallway, or into your office lunchroom lately? Or considered the odd celebrities you celebrate as "perfect" on t.v.? Have you noticed I make `em all shapes and sizes? Believe me ,, there is no "perfect"!) Many people will express sympathy, but you don't want or need that, because Trig will be a joy. You will have to trust me on this.
I know it will take time to grasp this and come to accept that I only want the best for you, and I only give my best. Remember though: "My ways are not your ways, my thoughts are not your thoughts... for as the heavens are higher than the earth, my ways are higher than yours!"
I wrote that all down for you in the Good Book ! Look it up! You claim that you believe me - now it's time to live out that belief! Please look to me as this new challenge and chapter of life unfolds in front of you. I promise to equip you. I won't give you anything you can't handle. I am answering your prayers. Trig can't wait to meet you. I'm giving you ONLY THE BEST!
Love, Trig's Creator , Your Heavenly Father
