Amanda,  I laughed at this one...when hubby or others put words in your mouth and your left befuddled, trying to gather your thoughts! Are introverts like that...they have to think before they answer all things? Funny I'm quite voisterous alot but do get caught on certain grounds with my tongue tied, and other people deciding things or putting thoughts or words on me, and because I can't formulate instantly what I want to get out, I just say the heck and don't say anything. But...I am learning in Philosophy how to think critically and logically and already am noticing where many claims are made that in no way support the conclusions people assume they have just proven to you or about you.  I wish I had had this knowledge once when a boss said, "since this one and that one made a complaint about you; I deduct that there must be a problem with you."  I could have told her today that A+A is does not produce B.  I'm in Algebra too..ha ha!  Or I could have said, correlation doesn't prove cause; that would have been fun. It also might not have won me any points though. ha ha! I have learned that silence isn't always bad; when God is with you, your silence can sometimes be his favor upon you! And sometimes fire upon the head of the person attacking you. Be wise as a serpeant and harmless as a dove remember. It's like sometimes people say you need to be more assertive and really you'd rather not even be there at all, right?    love kim
