Hi Geketa

My wife is the same as you, but here's an option she uses. Owing to my objections to listening to inane chitchat at parties, she and her girlfriends indulge in "lunches" at each others' homes (funnily enough, the men are mostly like me), which usually involves someone's birthday, and sometimes for absolutely no reason whatsoever, lol. Needless to say the wine flows and character assinations abound. The husband who's house it's at usually goes out or finds something to do for the afternoon, or we get together at the Bowls Club for a beer.

P.S. I've heard you on BlogTalk and you ain't no introvert :)

Hi John,

No one could ever call me  an introvert that is for sure at 3 years old I was entertaining the family at reunions singing and dancing to Elvis Presley's hound dog.

Hi Geketa

Yes, I'll bet you were, lol.

Just thinking, if Elvis were alive today he'd weigh about 58 stone :)

Hi Geketa,

16  ounces to a 1 lb (pound)
14lb to a stone

I still think in ounces, pounds and stones, even though New Zealand
has been converted over to Metric for weight, distance etc for some
years now.

I have not trouble with imperial used here in the States, although I still convert someone's pound weight into stones so I can guage and understand better.
