You taught me :

- beating around the bush  causes missunderstanding;

- it is also a bad habit, ingrained in all what people do

- beating around the bush, or being an object of it, is time wasting and life complicating ....

I agree with each your word.

But, (un)fortunately I found myself also  very comfortable with some statements of the opposite direction. As - beating around the bush may be a good choice at some special relationships and situations.

Jiyka, thank you much for the invitation.  With a day off from school you seem to have found something very interesting to discuss.  It should help you write that essay when you decide to.

I have been reading through the posts this morning but I don't feel like responding except it is good to see some people say that 'truth is first and foremost'.  A lie will always catch up with you sooner or later.

You asked in your message to me if I was well and happy.  Truth is, I have been sick.  So I thank you for asking.
