What I think is funny (but sad), my daughter is 13 y/o. She joined Adland to learn how to network in this type of setting.
Most of her friend request & PM's have been an advert, most of them she is to young to join the program. She has answered them saying that she is not the age required for that program & they would have known that if they looked at her profile. OK, she is a bit blunt, but that is OK by me. She has then gotten replys that say "show this to your parents, they need this".
One person was sending her a PM once a week with an advert. After telling them she was underage, if you want my mom to see it send it to her, she then ask them 'how would they like it if she banged on their door every week trying to sell you something you did not want?'. They have stopped sending her Pm's.
She will tell you that something she is learning here are what NOT to do.

That is a very interesting insight Sheryl. I think some people would try to sell a piece of garbage to a baby if he was crawling around with a dollar in his hands!
