Thanks for letting me know about this forum, Cheri. My parents lived through the (Great) depression. They knew how to handle money from ther growing-up years prior to the depression. They lived more with "needs" than with "wants." They would be appalled at our "plastic economy." A former (older) colleague of mine grew up on a farm in northern Kansas. Some years ago, he stated that the problem with our children is that they want to start out where Mom and Dad ended up. I think that too many people in our area have purchased large homes based on two incomes. Many high-income people have lost one income due to down-sizing by companies. Part-time network marketing would have been good insurance in such cases. I definitely am not an expert in economics. Some people look at an opportunity and quote the old saying, "He who hesitates is lost." Others look at the same opportunity and quote another one, "Look before you leap." (I realize that in fact these two should work together.) Thanks for an interesting forum. Lawton www.myspiritualjourney.info

You are absolutely right Cheri, F.E.A.R. indeed is a monster whre we visualise what is isn't and draw back refusing to go forward. We get so disempowered that we refuse even to think about what we need to do. Like many others, I have gone through syndrome and have found that what helps meis the 'what if' thinking...which in a nutshell is asking ourselves a question,,,"What would I do if I knew that I would NEVER FAIL; that I wold acomplish what ever I set out to do?" Indeed, what would I do! We need to train our minds to visualise and see with our third eye what result we want to accomplish and then move forward towards that end. If we can't 'see' it, chances are we will find it dificult in attaining it. It has helped me, it is worth a try. Sincerely MYke http://www/MyGift4Life.biz

HI Cheri, Thanks very much for the invite. I am so happy for you and your husband that you are buying your first home!! Fantastic!! I am even more happy to hear that you overcame the fear that kept holding the two of you back. Fear is a terrible thing, and many people don't achieve what they would like to because they have the fear of failure! I am glad that you did something to help yourself overcome the fears that you had. Now just think of all the things that you can do now without that monster hanging over your head! CONGRATULATIONS & KEEP UP THINKING POSITIVE! Marilyn
