My Poet Friend and Partner Michael,

I am reminded of my experience at the Grand Canyon here in Arizona. When I was young, my parents took us to one of the rims and the view was awesome. If I am not mistaken, the weather did not cooperate as well as it could have but it was still an exhilarating and almost frightening experience. Such an expanse and I so small. LOL

Now as I understand it, the environment there is becoming more threatened. With heightened tourism has come 'new and improved' ways to view its majesty. At this time I feel that the old ways of viewing nature would be better than the new even if it's by car (a pollutant in and of itself). The view is already spectacular without the hi-tech construction. I hope one day, you will have the opportunity to see it's wonders.

Hi Gary,

I want to thank-you for joining my forum and sharing your opinion with us.

Our Mother Earth does have the antidote for many of mankind's own problems and disease's. The Lord will help Mankind before we destroy our world "if" we would just ask.

Blessings,

Michael

Hi Michael..thanks for inviting me to read your poem..good one!

It amazes and gladdens me at just how enthusiastic you are ..how inspired and how dedicated you are..good on ya!!..

keep up the good work..I love how you love what you do and I know you'll be writing poetry forever and ever!..it's in your blood.

I'm still trying to figure out the haiku poems that mattias is  telling us about ..might be a while till I can figure it out...

have you tried that style yet..it's not as easy as it appears to be..it looks so simple...but it's not really..ha!

keep getting inspired..poetry is a great way to release and share your feelings about life.
