Not a matter of just trying to be nice to your enemies but to love them for they do not know what they do Lisa, i have been wronged many times too, even today. In Proverbs 25:21 reads a follows, "If your enemy is hungry, give him water to drink. ( advice/spiritual food). In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, (make him or her think of what has happened) and the Lord will reward you. Like i say God is who we are pleasing not anyone else. And always remember the 6 virtues (Compassion) (Kindness) (humility) (Gentleness) and (Patience). I know its hard but thats why we have the Holy Bible to help us remember.
