Re: Motivation for the Discouraged!

OK, buddy, I am back.

I just printed out the steps.  Looks like MLM 101 to me - at least I understood more of it than I usually do.  Have to check out the Adland Gold - I upgraded to Adlander over a year ago and haven't been sorry.  I think there's more to the Gold and parts of it I didn't understand when I first looked at it.

I am an affiliate and have the Adland links on my Bird Essentials website as well as my Adland website.    Anyway, I am going to get to work on the steps you've spelled out and I will let you know when the questions start popping up!!

Thanks, Neil!!  (Not sure this was much of a contribution, unless you consider my admission of ignorance valuable -LOL).

Hugs to you Judy...... thanks again for your feedback.

When it comes to the use of web tools, viral marketing and things of that nature- I'm the hungry student. I'm just getting my feet wet.

The Gold package at Adland is more "Marketing and Advertising" (getting hits) - I am still learning to use it more effectively..... I'm soon to upgrade to Adlander as I know the Adland people search, the "email your list tool" and a few other things I have not yet used are extremely valuable.....

I chose my strategy simply because I know the law of numbers is SO important in any sales program... and like it or not- we are in sales.......

Advertising, Traffic Exchange, SEO stuff gets hits and will grow a business... but once people are signed up, the people part of the business takes precidence...

Why? Because MLM's are systems of duplication..... thus the people need to be trained/led...

Without people skills, you may get a large list of sign ups- but no-one knows how to work this business vehicle called MLM.

Inspired as they may be- they need to understand the how to steps one by one - so they "know" what to Do with their inspiration........ and because they will develop a team themselves- they need to learn to teach and train...

MLM Defined-  "Teachers teaching teachers,to teach teachers to teach!"

That is why my emphasis is on the people training side of things.... as I learn to understand more of the technical tools and their uses my forum will again "teach best what I need to learn the most" LOL and thus I will hopefully be able to guide people on simple How to do Technical stuff.....

Adland Training does that well..... yet I know forums help people a lot more because the way things are shared by a variety of posters.... makes the "thread" more understandable to a larger audience.

For me- siging up in MEP helped me a LOT in understanding the web and what is going on in the larger picture of the technical side..... the FREE trial is worth checking out..... with the Trial you can have your web page "system reviewed" for optimization.... plus a brief mini Search Engine Submission.

I invite you to check it out!

Building a large list of contacts, learning how to read people (see my four types of people) .... and the basics I have posted to date are beginning steps to be added to the beginning steps on learning the tools of the technical side of online business building.

Sorry I posted such a long reply..... Also- hope my rambling thoughts make sense!

Thanks, Neil!

It made perfect sense and I wouldn't have guessed your were rambling if you hadn't said so.  You actually said a lot I DID understand!!!! (lol)

I will check out MEP and I just made another printout.  I am going to take Adland by the horns and start taking advantage of the tools and training which, because of my "fear" of whatever, I have procrasinated nicely until now.

As for the friends - I have lots invited today and I will just keep doing that. I think one of the biggest things I am seeing in you is your genuine committment!!  I see clearly how I have been committed in mind, spirit, financially, and have been lacking on some of the actions I need to take.

Until your reply I didn't know anything about the email available to friends.  I use the "Direct Contact" to my friends a couple of times a month.

Well - I better go learn something!

Hugs back and have a phenominal and abundant day!

This post is absolutely wonderful.   I'll be reading it over a couple more times because I really like your advices Neil.

I had upgraded to gold and could not figure things out for the life or me, I found the gold section very difficult to understand and use so I stepped back down to free, and I feel definately more familiar.

I would have liked to email everyone at the same time but it didnt' seem to work for me and there was no help replied to my messages.

So I'll have to do the work one person at a time.

I'll definately be checking out your tips and ideas , thanks.
