Re: 476 Adland Emails in 10 days. Do you read them all?

Hi Linda I do not read them all, just scan the subjects and delete those off no interest at the moment. I think I recive around 2500 e-mails a day, and have to be hard on what to read. But it is possible to put the inbox up to sort the most before I start to look.

I read way too much, but I'm a pretty fast reader so that helps a little.

Some don't get read at all, like:

SUBJECT IS IN ALL CAPS

Really urgent important help me now stuff.. Been misused too many times.

As I have been round the block a few times I have a great filter.
Opening and reviewing if an email is interesting or not takes me almost no time.
Large emails is usually immediately a no no..

I like the emails that atleast seem personal and have some value.

I agree with Dave on this one. There are times I just can't do it. I need to focus on other things & make emails my last priority. I too will dump if needed. I dont have room for all the forum invites & the customer emails as well. Customers come first in my book.
Just my opinion Linda

Well I have to say reading the answers in this thread so far have proved then one thing i strongly suspected.

Most of us are wasting our time here in Adland.

Like Donald I have always extended the courtesy of reading the emails I have received. Even if I have not acted on them at least I read them.

Well Donald it looks like its a one way street  Everyone wants you to read their emails but are not prepared to return the courtesy.

I came here with high hopes of finding some serious people but apart from a few good friends that I have made, I have found only snake oil and pill pedlar's.

I have come to the conclusion Adland in my opinion is not for the serious marketer.

Oh and don't anyone worry you wont be getting any more DC's from me as I have canceled my Adlander subscription. I am feed up of throwing money away.
