476 Adland Emails in 10 days. Do you read them all?
2/9/2007 9:45:28 AM

Hi...

Usually I'm good at clearing out my email daily, and emptying the trash bin.

But, I was curious as to how many emails come from Adland members, so I saved them all in a folder.  476 in 10 days.

You know what happens with that volume of mail? I tend to scan the subject lines, responding to the ones sent by people I have grown to respect.

Do you do that, too?  Or do you read them ALL?

: )
Linda

P.S. It's food for thought, too. Because what we send out and what we post will inevitably put each of us on the "read" or "delete" list.  You know?

Email can be one of the biggest time waster's......See I'm taking a break from other stuff I should be doing, just to answer your post.

Hi Linda,

I don't get anywhere near that many emails from adland members. Guess I'm not so popular. LOL!

But I go through them real fast and delete the opportunities and the forums I have no interest in. Now if I happen to notice a familiar name as I'm deleting, I will go back in my trash bin and retrieve it. As happened today with an invite from Winston. His name just happened to catch my eye as my finger is quite fast.

I don't have time to go to each and every forum, even though I might like to read them. There is work to be done.

linda i'm sure that i get as many from adland as you do that leaves me no alternative to delete most of them unless i'm working with some one there or info that i;ve requested and the exchange is un fair adland can send to our email adress and we have to send to form i even sent private adress if they wanted to communicate free so i just delete most of them;

No, I do not read all of my Adland emails.  I do not have time to read all.  I do some non-medical triage: I read the ones that have a subject that I might be interested in, or that are from people I have learned usually have something worthwhile.  I flag some that I may want to look into when I have more time.  I delete the rest.

I have even considered getting out of Adland in order to have more time for my from-home business for which I do not need ads or downlines.

I do not see how some Adlanders who spend so much time in forums have time to run their at-home business(es).  They must have more "free" time than I do.
