Read your post-you did.
"While I am sure Joyce does face racism far too often, it may not be as often as she thinks it is. "- I get really annoyed when people presume to know what I think. It sounds very patronizing and I can almost feel the pat on top of my head.
I will presume you are in marketing and one of the prime directives in marketing is to know your target.
You singled me out (targeted) and went on to list an array of misperceptions or wrong headed thinking of Blacks. Well, you don't know me or how I think about any of the subjects you listed.
Your words again:
The Bottom Line? I would like to see more Blacks admit far too many Blacks are also racists.
Well darned if my invitation to the "What Blacks Think" meeting didn't get lost in the mail-but when they let me know what their collective thoughts are on these issues-I'll let you know.
As far as race goes-My grandmother was negro, my mother was colored, I've been negro, black, african american and then black again-usually not having been asked.
I prefer being called Your Majesty as I am the Queen of my own world.
Tomorrow is another day and I intend to be busy rebuilding my city and have no time to ponder these matters further.
Have a Blessed Day.
