Actually, Neil, I do not subscribe to be either of the left or the right. I am non-partisan. I vote based on my beliefs and the information I gather.

I take particular offense to the teenager brain comment. I have always been highly intelligent, and mature in thought. Regardless of my age, during the Reagan years, I did my research and thought out my position regarding the state of the world.

I am not one who judges youth and regards them as insignificant just because of the length of time they've been on this planet. I know plenty of elders who are more backward in their thinking than some of the teenagers I know.

For the record... my high school teachers were all conservative.

I was in the real world too, Neil. Teenagers occupy the same earthly space as adults. I've never been to Fantasy Island. In fact, at the age of 16, I was living on my own, working, going to school and supporting myself as an adult. I've been in the real world all of my 40 years.

Our children are our future, so don't dismiss them as goofy.

Hello Dave,

Great forum!  It is imperative that this information be kept in the forefront of the worlds consciousness, not just American minds.  Everything done here in the US affects the world in one way or another.  Keep up the good work.

To Neil, please don't bash me to harshly!!!!  I respect your opinions.

I have made these posts in the following forum:  http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/199584.aspx

These are just "my personal opinions", but I think are relative to this forum.....

Hello Billy,

I apologize first up!!!!, But I am going to get down and dirty, which is just the plain honest truth of what I believe.

#1---- YES!!! We are in TOO deep to quit. If we don't finish the job our President started, we are F*&*&^!!!! The US is on a downward spiral: We americans are losing our God given rights and the rights that our government gave us with the Declaration of Independence, which was formally ACCEPTED on July, 4, 1776 by delegates from 12 colonies. And was SIGNED by all 56 delegates from ALL 13 colonies on Aug 2, 1776. The US is so @#%^$&#$%&!!!!!

President Bush should never have been allowed to go to war with Iraq! We have special 'covert ops' that could have taken care of Saddam and his people and then let Iraq take care of Iraq.... We would not have had to be there..............PERIOD!

Vi, I am so very sorry for your loss. I do not have the words to express the depth of hurt and anguish that I feel for you, yours and all who have lost someone in this war and the wars that came before. Our lives are dependent on our Lord. I believe very strongly that we are taken when it is our time to go. It does not matter where we are or what we are doing.

My prayers are with you and yours.
Please take special care,
Jo

Hello Bill,

Thank you for this, I appreciate your efforts.  Keep putting the word out, whether a person agrees or disagrees does not matter.  Everyone has an opinion and it is through the discourse of opinions that we are able to make the changes necessary for the betterment of our Great Country.  Thank you again.....

Hello Bill,

Thank you so much, Aaliyah Celene is my sons first daughter and my second granddaughter.  I am extremely thrilled and so very happy for Jerrett....

Back to your forum....I have associated myself with the Democratic party for most all my life.  However, I am so disgusted with what both major parties are trying to do, that I don't know where I will end up.  The Democrats seem to be totally nuts, and the Republicans are right there with them.... I have said before that our Great Country is "going to h*ll in a handbasket" and 'Man'... we are there....We have a President that is so 'ignorant' and so 'irresponsible',  that he cannot even make speeches without making 'gross', and 'inaccurate' statements,   and 'statements' that make no sense at all......How "did" this man become President.... and for 2 terms!!!!  Are we,  the American people that dumb!!!  It is my opinion that we have an 'absolute ignoramous' in the White House....  I pray that we, as a nation,  are able to vote into office someone that has enough sense to pronounce words correctly and honestly knows what he/she is talking about, and has enough sense to do what is right!

Hello Billy,

You, too, are right, Bush has fulfilled his agenda!  And not what he promised the American people...   I wouldn't be surprised if REX 84 camps aren't opened.....  Honestly I don't think too many people even know what that is BTW.

Hi Everyone,

I thought you may find this interesting I got this email yesterday.

Date: Wed, 6 Sep 2006

  ROMANIAN NEWSPAPER, ON THE U S A

We rarely get a chance to see another country's editorial about the USA.

Read this excerpt from a Romanian Newspaper.

The article was written by Mr. Cornel Nistorescu and published under the
title "C"ntarea Americii, meaning "Ode To America" in the Romanian
newspaper Evenimentulzilei

"The Daily Event" or "News of the Day".
  ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

On Ode to America~
  Why are Americans so united

They would not resemble one another even if you painted them all one
color! They speak all the languages of the world and form an astonishing
mixture of civilizations and religious beliefs.

Still, the American tragedy turned three hundred million people into a
hand put on the heart.

Nobody rushed to accuse the White House, the army, or the secret service
that they are only a bunch of losers.

Nobody rushed to empty their bank accounts.

Nobody rushed out onto the streets nearby to gape about.

Instead the Americans volunteered to donate blood and to give a helping
hand.

After the first moments of panic, they raised their flag over the
smoking ruins, putting on T-shirts, caps and ties in the colors of the
national flag.

They placed flags on buildings and cars as if in every place and on
every car a government official or the president was passing.

On every occasion, they started singing:"God Bless America!"

I watched the live broadcast and rerun after rerun for hours listening
to the story of the guy who went down one hundred floors with a woman in
a wheelchair without knowing who she was, or of the Californian hockey
player, who gave his life fighting with the terrorists and prevented the
plane from hitting a target that could have killed other hundreds or
thousands of people.

  How on earth were they able to respond united as one human being? ;
Imperceptibly, with every word and musical note, the memory of some
turned into a modern myth of tragic heroes.

And with every phone call, millions and millions of dollars were put
into a collection aimed at rewarding not a man or a family, but a
spirit, which no money can buy.

What on earth can unite the Americans in such a way?

Their land? Their history? Their economic Power? Money?

I tried for hours to find an answer, humming songs and murmuring phrases
with the risk of sounding commonplace, I thought things over, I reached
but only one conclusion.. Only freedom can work such miracles.

  Cornel Nistorescu

(This deserves to be passed around the internet forever. It took a
person on the outside - looking in - to see what we take for granted!)
GOD BLESS AMERICA! !

Hi Neil, As usual, I rather enjoy your bluntness, directness and gritty determination to set the record straight as you see it. Having reread my own post, I can see that my personal dislike of President Bill Clinton does most certainly show through, and for that I do not apologize. I did not like him as president, and nothing has changed in that regard. As far as the idea that I intended to condemn Clinton for being responsible for the present situation in the US, that was certainly not my intent, though it is easy to see how it was taken that way. My real intention was to show that the focus on possible mistakes made by the present administation seems to have overlooked the possibility that previous administrations also made glaring mistakes in international policy, and for those who like to align themselves with the Democrats to speak and write as if the Republicans are the only ones who sometimes err is hypocritical. As far as my own, original post goes, I suppose my intent would have been much clear with much less appearance of bias, if I had taken it back even further to previous administrations such as Bush Sr., Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, and so on. All of them made mistakes; some of them were more obvious and spectacular than others. Perhaps my original thread would have been more acceptable to the majority if it had been titled, "Clinton Dropped the Ball, Too . God bless, Dave

Re: The Bush - Bin Laden family ties
9/19/2006 3:14:48 PM
Hi Robin, I appreciate your passion - I wish everyone would get as passionate about what they believe as you do. Apathy accomplishes nothing. It is true passion that creates healthy debate, and healthy debate that brings things out into the open where they can be examined, questioned, and sometimes even solved. As far as the Bush - Bin Laden family ties, that is a bit of a red herring. Every family has its own black sheep, and Osama certainly does not seem to have the blessing of the majority in his family, nor should his family be tarred as terrorists or cut off from longstanding friendships because of the actions of one wayward son. =================================================================== Democrats... Republicans... Independents... heck! they're all politicians at the end of the day. One, no better or worse than the next. ====================================================================== Policians have a way of helping us to believe exactly as you say. That's why it's so important for the population to get out and vote at election time. Elections give us the ability to call politicians to account and even to give them the boot when they get too carried away. While democracy is the only world system that works reasonably well; in the end, we have to live with its one obvious flaw: the majority isn't always right. God bless, Dave
