Here's the words of the "Crayone box song" or otherwise known as the "Color Song,"..................
Red is the color of the blood that flowed,
Down the face of someone who loved of so,
He's the perfect man, he's God's own Son,
He's the Lamb of God, he's the only One,
Who can give us life, who can make us grow,
Who can make the Love between us flow.
Blue is the color of a heart so cold,
that will not bend when the story's told,
Of the love of God for a sinful race,
of the blood that flowed down Jesus face,
Who can give us life, who can make us grow,
who can keep our hearts from growing cold.
Yellow is the color of the morning sun,
that shines so freely on everyone,
It's the sun above that keeps us warm,
it's the Son of Love that calms the storm,
Who can give us Life, who can make us grow,
who can turn our mournings into Gold.
Brown is the color of the autumn leaves,
as the winter comes to barren trees,
There is birth, there is death, There is a plan,
there is just one God, there is just one man,
Who can give us life, who can make us grow,
who can make our sins as white as snow,
Who can give us life, who can make us grow,
who can keep our hearts from growing cold,
Who can give us life, who can make us grow,
Who can make the love between us flow.
What a beautiful song! The presence of a Christ-like, separated life surely can sometimes cause friction in the workplace when those who are offended by the message of the cross or the spirit that exposes darkness shines; but Love is not something that can easily be denied or offended or even judged. There seems to be a fine line between upholding the truth of God and loving our neighbor as ourself. As many people as may feel offended, there are many who "see" the light of love when it's present and as if it's a little familiar to them, even if in some remote way, they are drawn to it, and engage in it with what sense of it they do have or possess inside. Light attracts light...and we can attract the light people do have out of them!
