The Light

Out of the darknes gathered within,
I crawled out of a fix I was in.
I saind "I won't go down without a fight"
When I noticed there was a light.

Like  fall comes the growing dim
and the clouds block the sun that was shining in
And winter comes and brings the snow.
White magnificence covers everything you know.

I saw far off there was something there.
Like a glowing ember in the air.
So I moved toward it in my fight
To bring myself into the light.

A presence there I felt somehow
that urged me forward to the now.
The only time we have in fact.
Is  now that we must act.

Climbing ever farther still
Through pain and troubles I climbed until
I could see more clearly in my fight,
The magificence of the light.

I didn't care what was in my way.
Nor did I stop by the way,
I climbed ever higher in my fight
and reached the glowing light.

Now I don't care what trouble you are in
Even when your patience is thin,
Don't give up without a fight
For there is always the eternal light.

This light shines in all of us.
It doesn't matter how bad the fuss,
How dark it seems in your life,
How bad you struggle in your strife.

You can find it too you see.
It is there for you and me.
I stand now in endless might
For I have found the eternal light.

Sunday

Sunday the first day of the week
A day of contemplation and to our friends we speak
Some attend the house of thier religions
A Few go to the park and feed the pigeons.

For many it is a day of rest
Contemplation, refection of the best
We experienced during the week
Or to help someone in need that is weak.

Whatever the reason have a wonderful day!
This is short, I am resting what more can I say?

The Stairs

Everywhere I look I see the stairs
This way and that I wonder who cares.
Which one is the right one to choose?
You take the wrong one and then you loose.

One has a garden with beautiful flowers
One just bare with a clock just with hours.
The other one shows the day of the week
Lastly there is one overgrown with weeds.

I thought long and hard at each and evey one
I had no time, I had to pick one
The one well traveled I didn't choose
For this is the one in that you loose.

I looked at the day of the week
And I thought this was for the weak.
I pondered over the one with hours
And with that one I fought the powers.

Lastly I chose the one with weeds.
For no one went there, too hard it seems.
The road less traveled was the right choice
for beyond the stairs was a small voice.

"Well done!" It said "for no one comes here."
In a barely audible sound from nowhere,
"The one less traveled has rewards untold,
The higher you climb the more they unfold."

The stairs were ment to climb you see.
They stand ever calling us who see
That many choose wrong and stumble and fall
But the one less traveled is the most important of all.
