hello...I would recommend to anyone that is doing business on the internet to have a good firewall and virus protection ...otherwise you are asking for computer problems beyond control...Larry

First of all, the old stand-by still works, "If it sounds TOO GOOD to be true...it probabaly IS too good to be true."

Second, most reputable companies will not contact you by email asking you to follow a link in the email to update or validate information.  If you ever think you should see what "your account" or whatever says, open a new browser window and go to the official site, or phone in and see if anything is needed.

Third, many companies will prosecute if they can get their hands on these people using their names, and they often have link where you can forward this sort of thing.

Have a great day!

Don

Hello Venerina,

Please update. This person can not anymore disturb anyone with this e-mail. Lycos Administration deleted his account.

My message to them

Hello Lycos Administration.

First I will congratulate you for superb web site and design.

A member of yours or a person using the possibility having a free e-mail from your program is spamming in our community. Check the multi-message that is sent to our members.
http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/404229.aspx

Block all his activities and delete his account. Send us an e-mail with your response to your member. If no action is done in 24 hours we are going to send this e-mail to all black lists wich is not a PR for Lycos.com that I know is a very good and famous program.

Yours sincerely
