Anyway, they are not covering my typing area when I use my Advanced Browser - Just that IE can't seem to keep them on the stage. 

 I have seen a few people (including Bogdan) I would like to contact if I had the time.

But Time is Money and my Banker is not happy with me these days - something about too much "social networking"  Now, where does he get that "cockamaina idea" anyway!! Must Be From GOOGLE.

I've returned to post a second comment Mary! I have to applaud Bodgan for his interest to make it easier for people on dial-up. This post today is to say I was so happy this morning to come into Adland as it was so much faster to enter the site + reply to a post !!!

The removal of the slide show was the best thing Bodgan has done for people on dial-up. Thank you so much, Bodgan !!! Now again, I can enjoy Adland and not be frustrated or discouraged to visit and post. It has improved the speed performance and are so appreciated to this change.

To regards the shout-boxes, I've chosen the second option and are quite happy with the results. They are not in my view but a small box on the left top to shout a new post. Also, I like the small picture of who is in on the right bottom corner. This are changes that are beneficial to people on dial-up and for those that do not like these shout-boxes interfering with work. Give it a try if one does not like the shout-boxes, you'll be much happier !!!

Thanks again Bodgan, I will again enjoy Adland once again !!!

The problem with dial up was never considered here.  Thanks for pointing out the problem you were having. 

If you are willing to wait for the pictures to change when scouting out new friends in the little boxes, then it is well worth it to you to be able to work quicker.  Welcome back. .......Didn't know you were going to give up on Adlandpro. 

Hi Mary, You know, I had a really good day the other day here in the community. The 'toolbar' of pics was gone and no little popups on my pages and I was actually able to participate without spending half my time waiting for pages to load. Now we have thes other popups which are really annoying to me as they do not give me a choice to opt out. I have not been deluged with invitations either from the toolbar pics or these as of yet, and I am not going to click one of these and waste 10 mins waiting for the profile to load so I can invite someone. I'm tired of bells and whistles.
