G'day Norman,
Cooooooooooooo-eeeeeeeeeeee!
That was me calling you with my Aussie bush call - LOL!
Er, forumites - it's an Australianism. Don't worry. I'm not going nuts. If we "go bush" (ie outback, forest, wilderness - wherever) and get lost or disorientated that is how we find each other - or so the myth goes.
NO it is not a mating call - even though everybody over here calls each other "mate" - a cover for not remembering someone else's name.
Hence: G'day mate!

"I still miss the old straight talking - very refeshing from the rest of the world!"

I had to laugh. A good observation Norman. Aussies are renowned for that. Tell it like it is. Though the "politically correct" dorks are trying to ameliorate everything we say and write. Well, they won't get me.
Hmm. Melbourne and the Gold Coast are on the other side of this vast continent to me. I'm in Perth - the powerhouse of the nation - LOL.
Seriously, Western Australia has the bulk of the iron ore and minerals that the rest of the world - specifically China, Japan and India need. Hence, our economy is booming. Our house prices are soaring. I think it was a 28% increase last year alone.
Anyway, this isn't meant to be an expose on where I live. Norm just got me fired up.
By the way Norm... I hope you are not a Collingwood supporter. (Aussie football club folks).
Stone the crows, it's late! I'd better bugger off (heh...heh... I'm really turning it on for you Norm!) and get some work done.
Thanks for coming by. Feel free to make your comments here any time.
See you later.
Gary
