Hi Linda, Manifesting can and does happen. There are books on the subject. It reminds me of quite a few years ago. I had a small amount of money to buy a car. I insisted it have under 50,000 kilometers on it and be in good condition. My uncle, who was in the business and looking for me said that it wouldn't happen. I said, I have time, so you wait and see it will happen. Well wouldn't you know it! Along came a 12 year old car that was in storage, only had 20,000 kms on it, no rust and was in mint condition. I just kept focusing on what I want, I also waited for it and didn't presume it wasn't going to happen and then buy the first thing that came around. Somehow, I haven't gotten to the 1,000,000 bill. I will do that right away! I'm not sure what I've been waiting for. :) Alana

Hi, again, LinaC, I know exactly what you mean about words - pernickety little things, aren't they? The old coot is pretty much a pedant at heart and if the feeling is that the message didn't get across - send a new messenger. If you visit Shannon's forums, you will see that we often spoke the same language but didn't quite get precision in our expressions. Something to do with the English and Americans being divided by a common language? All the to-ing and fro-ing is a great way to get a feel for the personality on the other side of the conversation. Hi Alana, Yes, for sure we ALWAYS get what we think about, what we focus upon. So, if we focus on something we don't want, guess what we're going to get. Congratulations for keeping your thoughts aligned with what you DO want... which is what you get. There are so many distractions and negative reactions around us, it does take a little practice to think and speak ONLY of what we want. Imagine!
