Hi.... What a fun thread. For Arthur... ========================================= Must I consider myself a failure because I don't have a cent to scratch my behind with? ========================================= If "not having a cent to scratch your behind with" is living your dream - then you're a success. If it's not, then you have to ask yourself why you accept less and how you can change it. In my humble opinion, of course... lol Dan.... "The stinking thinking...." I love that phrase. You're so right. We have three commodities that we can use to create the lives we want. Time, money and energy (ie; feelings/emotions are energy) Paper and pencil are magic. Write down where we spend and we'll find places to save. Write down how we spend time and we'll see places to use it better. Write out dreams and create plans, and they become real, not abstract. What we think affects what we do. What we do affects what we get. What we get affects how we think It always comes back around to the stuff between our ears and how we use it. : ) Linda

Hi, LindaC, Not having a cent to scratch my behind with is not living my dream - it is the result of living my dream. Two very different things. Despite all I and members of my family have had to live through, we have maintained our dream. We are a happy and fulfilled group of people. I'm not saying I wouldn't like to be financially wealthy, it just isn't on my list of priorities - not even at the bottom. Regards

Hi, Linda, Me? Perfect? You nearly made an old man cry! I do so love it when my old coot moments are received in the manner in which they are meant. My life philosophy doesn't suit many people but it works for me - and it is nice to meet someone who understands that. Regards
