Re: What turns you off enough to make you leave a website?

Linda M, Quite obviously you are talking about "the cup half full versus the cup half empty" outlook on life. I understand that and agree with its concept. It is what gives us a generally negative outlook, or a positive one. But this comment... ================ "I actually "believe" that if someone truly believes and has faith that they can jump off a building and not be governed by gravity, they CAN. ================= ... If you can find ANYBODY in the WORLD to do this then I will organise a heap of media people and we will both make an absolute fortune selling the rights to viewing the first person in history able to defy the law of gravity. ================= I know that gravity appears as a "fact" to you, but to me everything is energy and nothing is impossible." ================= Again, with respect to gravity - that is why we are able to walk and remain in traction to the earth. If it were not for gravity you would simply float away. You would not be able to get from A to B. Gravity is good. Gravity is a fact. You also said: ================= "If I were to start thinking about it I am sure it would become more evident to me..." ================= So... what you are saying is that it (the garbage) IS there but you personally choose to ignore it. Well, ignoring it is fine. But, by your own admission, it is still real. Is it not? Gary

Hey Winston, Peter got your little joke. I didn't. But now that he has explained it - THAT was pretty witty. It reminded me of a song a few years back - "take the "l" out of lover and it's over." Gary

Hi Folks, If i may; But this comment... To this I would like to add, Linda you are, in my mind correct, as well as in the minds of many others. This all falls into the realm of Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Physics. A universal consciousness, if we look at the works of Ramtha, and I quote; "If we have just discussed the viable science of levitation - in which, that you as a heavy, three-dimensional object vibrating according to the hertz of the planet allows you to have the same stability as mass itself - if suddenly you were to change your field, then the mass that you are made up of would change as well. So it would vibrate; you would still be you but you would be vibrating at another frequency. In other words, we can see you and you are still John Doe, but you are not in the world because you are no longer obeying the laws of gravity and physics here. So you are actually levitating fifteen feet above the floor; we can see you, but you are eating the surrounding time in this time. And while you are sitting there, you are actually in the future. You are in another dimension of time that will one day be your linear future." There is a short desription at this website that looks at Levitation in some detail, and levitation is an act of defying gravity or the changing of phyical laws as we know them.

Hi Linda; ====================================== I actually "believe" that if someone truly believes and has faith that they can jump off a building and not be governed by gravity, they CAN. I know that gravity appears as a "fact" to you, but to me everything is energy and nothing is impossible. ====================================== Quantum physics. What the bleep. I love this stuff. Anyone that's watched David Blaine (sp?) or any of the people with his skill set have no choice but to question everything we were taught. Levitation, floating, passing their hands, bodies and objects through glass. And not on camera. Not on a stage with lighting and stage tricks. Right in front of people. Live. On the streets and in bars and restaurants. People scream, laugh, cry and faint. What these people do challenges everything we were taught. And yet there they are - doing it. Everything is energy. They key to what we achieve is found in what we believe. : ) L

Hi Gary, I'm getting a good chuckle out of this conversation and I hope you are too, because, again, it is such a great example of how different beliefs determine what we experience in our lives. One of my great teachers taught me to imagine that each us has attached to our heads and projected in front of us a "belief window." Through that belief window everything we perceive is filtered. We can only see what we believe. That is why we each perceive the world differently, through our own belief window, and often do not understand another's point of view. There is no right or wrong here. There only IS. I am enjoying the interaction!
