Mike you have nothing to apologize for so forget it ever happened. We're not responsible for what other people do and do keep participating in this thread. You know we've been having a lot of fun so just let it go and forget it, please. We're a diverse people and we all have our likes and dislikes and we can't fault people who have different likes or dislikes than we do. Hope you're having a great weekend and tell Shirley I said hi. :)

10_1_136.gifHi Mary Evelyn,
I just came by to apologize. I had imagined that was what had happened. As Peter has pointed out, she will post two or three videos and if no one responds she will take them down. She has done that a few times on my two threads. I wish that people could realize that those that enter a thread will not respond to everyone. When I posted mine, "King Of The Road" by Roger Miller, I did so to contribute, not to gain recognition. I have learned however, that it does not show. I am still having problems with my computer and not everything takes the way I want them to. That does not mean that I am going to delete it. It gets confusing when someone puts something up and takes it down. It is like an interior designer who keeps changing the design. Perhaps someone liked the first design but by the fifth or sixth change, nobody cares anymore. What hurts the most is yes, I suggested that she bring some videos in, but I did not intend for her to insult you as a result of it. I love this thread and now I feel as though I stuck my nose in where it doesn't belong. This is where Forgiveness is very difficult, as by hurting you and possibly a lot of our friends, she has hurt me as well. There are many views to my two threads, but not a lot of responses. To respond to a thread, there must be something of interest to you for you to respond. As long as I continue to post subjects of interest I can expect a response, otherwise I cannot. In conclusion, try to forgive me if you can, if you cannot, I understand. To Karen, I ask that you insult me as much and as often as you would like, but please, please do not hurt my friends.

GOD BLESS YOU
and to Peter
Shalom
~Mike~

Hi Mike,

I saw your post in the forum history (yesterday?) about "King of the Road" but I didn't stop to listen to it, even though it's one of my favorite songs, I really like the versions by Roger Miller AND The Proclaimers (the bain of Roger MacDivitt's existence...LOL! He can't stand The Proclaimers' Scottish accent!) I should try to make an effort to listen to more ALP members who do Singsnap.

Hello Roger,

I had not thought about the concept that forgiveness was a Gift - but I do agree it is when I gave it food for thought, as I had to forgive years ago for actions against me that really hurt me and I asked for help to forgive. I find it fairly easy to forgive. However I am glad that we do not have to forget as I think this would be almost impossible and the remembering without the pain attached does put me in the position to be able to empathize with other people in their struggles in similar positions.

I do know with the Gifts of the Spirit all we need to do is ask as they are free gifts and God has already made them available to us, yet so often we either forget they are there or forget to ask.

Thanks for the share.

Amanda

Amanda and Myrna,

A subject that is the very nearest to my heart. I have bored so many Adlanders with my experiences about forgiveness, so forgive me. It is really important.

The one BIG gift that God gave me was the power AND THE DESIRE to forgive.

So many people rightly say that to forgive actually makes you feel better but this shouldn't be the reason.

I find it right and natural to forgive and for me, those who can't forgive present me with a challenge.

There are VERY FEW evil people in the world and many cruel acts are committed through fear. Those who continue to perform dreadful or selfish acts need help and a few don't deserve forgiveness however if we do not try at least to understand, then we are doing ourselves a diservice.

As somebody who finds forgiveness easy I can say that the only baggage that I carry is for family and close friend who find it hard to understand how I have forgiven folk who have harmed us at some time.

FORGIVENESS IS A GIFT but a few need to search their hearts to find it.

Hello Roger,

I had not heard of this song before, yet I enjoyed the different rhythm and I enjoyed listening to your POME accent too. *grin*

Hello everyone,

I had a few requests to bring a British accent here.

Here goes.

I recorded this one some time ago.

Remember T.Rex?
