Hi Len, thank you and it's great that you've joined us. I hope you'll come often. That is quite a list there, that Katrina sent you and very true. Some of them I am still working on. :)

Hi Evelyn,

Great idea on creating your own forum and I love the video you posted.

Here's my first post which was actually sent to me by Katrina Oakley

1. Marry the right person. This one decision will determine 90% of your happiness or misery.
2. Work at something you enjoy and that's worthy of your time and talent.
3. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
4. Become the most positive and enthusiastic person you know.
5. Be forgiving of yourself and others.
6. Be generous.
7. Have a grateful heart.
8. Persistence, persistence, persistence.
9. Discipline yourself to save money on even the most modest salary.
10. Treat everyone you meet like you want to be treated.
11. Commit yourself to constant improvement.
12. Commit yourself to quality.
13. Understand that happiness is not based on possessions, power or prestige, but on relationship with people you love and respect.
14. Be loyal.
15. Be honest.
16. Be a self-starter.
17. Be decisive even it it means you'll sometimes be wrong.
18. Stop blaming others. Take responsibility for every area of your life.
19. Be bold and courageous. When you look back on your life, you'll regret the things you didn't do more than the ones you did.
20. Take good care of those you love.
21. Don't do anything that wouldn't make your Mom proud."

Hi Roger, hope you're having a great weekend and thanks for bringing us another British flavored song. You did a very good job. :)

PS: Roger thanks and I certainly am not worried about you overdoing your singing.

Hello everyone,

I had a few requests to bring a British accent here.

Here goes.

I recorded this one some time ago.

Remember T.Rex?

Hi Evelyn,

I have been as busy as a beaver today Made 21 apple dumplings, apple stew, baked bread. I Apple dumplings, they are good I had one awhile ago. Wish 20 of you could come have one, I could make coffee, tea or what ever you prefer.

Roger and Luis have great voices. Love those accents.

Got this in an email today, cute and funny.
These two ladies work for British Airways and did this at a BA party in a hotel in England

At first it appears that they are just miming - but they were genuinely singing!

Myrna your video is hilarious. I sat here and laughed out loud. LOL And it sure sounds like you've been busy with all that cooking and baking. I bet your house smells delicious too. Baking bread always makes the house smell good and I bet those apple dishes had at least some cinnamon and probably other spices. Yum Yum. Too bad I don't live close enough to come help you eat some of it and if I did I would order coffee, black, to go with all these yummy things.

10_1_136.gifHi Mary Evelyn,
I just came by to apologize. I had imagined that was what had happened. As Peter has pointed out, she will post two or three videos and if no one responds she will take them down. She has done that a few times on my two threads. I wish that people could realize that those that enter a thread will not respond to everyone. When I posted mine, "King Of The Road" by Roger Miller, I did so to contribute, not to gain recognition. I have learned however, that it does not show. I am still having problems with my computer and not everything takes the way I want them to. That does not mean that I am going to delete it. It gets confusing when someone puts something up and takes it down. It is like an interior designer who keeps changing the design. Perhaps someone liked the first design but by the fifth or sixth change, nobody cares anymore. What hurts the most is yes, I suggested that she bring some videos in, but I did not intend for her to insult you as a result of it. I love this thread and now I feel as though I stuck my nose in where it doesn't belong. This is where Forgiveness is very difficult, as by hurting you and possibly a lot of our friends, she has hurt me as well. There are many views to my two threads, but not a lot of responses. To respond to a thread, there must be something of interest to you for you to respond. As long as I continue to post subjects of interest I can expect a response, otherwise I cannot. In conclusion, try to forgive me if you can, if you cannot, I understand. To Karen, I ask that you insult me as much and as often as you would like, but please, please do not hurt my friends.

GOD BLESS YOU
and to Peter
Shalom
~Mike~
