Here's a really cute video for all the truck drivers out there. Not a truck driver? Then send it to someone who is.

Drinking from my saucer
I've never made a fortune,
and it's probably too late now.
But I don't worry about that much,
I'm happy anyhow.

And as I go along life's way,
I'm reaping better than I sowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

Haven't got a lot of riches,
and sometimes the going's tough
But I've got loving ones all around me,
and that makes me rich enough.

I thank God for his blessings,
and the mercies He's bestowed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

I remember times when things went wrong,
My faith wore somewhat thin.
But all at once the dark clouds broke,
and the sun peeped through again.
So Lord, help me not to gripe,
about the tough rows I have hoed.
I'm drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

If God gives me strength and courage,
When the way grows steep and rough.
I'll not ask for other blessings,
I'm already blessed enough.
And may I never be too busy,
to help others bear their loads.
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer,
'Cause my cup has overflowed.

Hello Myrna,

I learned quite some years ago that forgiveness was an action to take to the person whom hurt me, which would release myself from the bondage. Because staying in unforgiveness has side effects e.g. anger, fear of being hurt - hardened heart, illness, aches and pains from tension and other effects.

I found your response interesting and also it made me sit up and think and also take action and forgive the driver of the bigrig just today, because I do not remember if I ever did.

James and I were driving on the Interstate in Wyoming shortly after relocating from Oregon and this bigrig pulled out in front of us as we were gaining on him to pass and we were on the outside lane. James had to move over to the inside lane to avoid him and the wind currents from his bigrig pulled and sucked our pickup into a 360o spin then a 3 times roll-over which totaled our pickup and I was injured. James was OK. The driver of the bigrig did not stop and James ended up getting a ticket for driving too fast for the road conditions! as well as we found out that 2 weeks prior our vehicle insurance had lapsed and we were not informed. My health insurance had also lapsed because I had left University of Oregon employment to relocate.. So we lost out in all directions, no vehicle and no medical help. We were down but not out and we have dusted ourselves off and got back up again on numerous occasions since.

Hi Evelyn,
I love your last 2 videos. The last one mentioned forgiveness. This is a good subject to me. I had problems with forgiving. After my auto accident in 2005, my pastor said to me" Myrna you know you have to forgive him, don't you" That statement really got me thinking about forgiving that man that did this and did that to me...........you know those kind of thoughts, but then, it really starting working on me, I had a lot of time to think and ponder on forgiveness... and after many months I finally forgave him.....and I can say that a great weight was lifted from m,. it was wonderful. I now think the accident was my reason to lean how to forgive, and I now say it was worth it. I too believe that everything happens for a reason. This was my reason to learn how to forgive.
I really like this video on forgiveness.

P. S. Peter I liked all the music but the 3rd one, didn't know what it was about.

Thanks Bogdan, I will send it to you. Is that also why there was no notification sent out? If there was one sent out no one seems to have gotten it. I always get one but not this time. This is Friday the 13th you know. :)

Thanks Helen for the congratulations. :)

Helen and Kathleen, Barry's had my bio since early yesterday afternoon and I don't think the notification for the congat thread has been sent out yet Helen, so that is why you didn't know about it, but I'm not the hold-up or at least I don't think I am. If the notification has been sent out I didn't get one.

PS: Ladies I also sent Barry a pm this morning and asked him when the notification was going to be sent out but he's never replied and I don't think he's been logged in since yesterday.

LOL Helen!

I'm waiting for her bio to be posted at the POTY Congrats thread!

Hi Mary Evelyn,

Barry's car refused to start today and he had to tow it to the shop. He was planning to show up but things must have taken longer.

If you want, please send your bio to my account and I will include it in the thread.

Thanks Amanda, you always seem to lift me up, by saying the things I needed to say. A writer I am not, but my heart is full of love. I try to help where I can.
