	Louie Gohmert: Obama Keeps ‘Siding with the Radical Islamists’ September 1, 2014 By Matthew Burke Congressman Louie Gohmert reminded America that only one year ago, Obama was in favor of arming Muslim terrorist group, the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), to fight against Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, who has been trying to defeat the group responsible for the recent beheading of American journalist James Foley. Appearing on “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on FOX News, Cavuto asked the congressman, who represents the first congressional district of Texas, about his reaction to Obama’s proclamation that after months of ISIS attacks, he still has “no strategy” to take out the barbaric Islamic group. “And the bottom line is, the president has said we don’t have a strategy right now. Do you buy that?” Cavuto asked Rep. Gohmert. “No, I agree. He has never had a good strategy,” Gohmert affirmed. “And I don’t want people to lose sign of the fact when we’re talking about ISIS –ISIS, ISIL — the rebels in Syria, the rebels in Iraq, when people say he should have bombed, he was going to bomb Assad a year ago. If he had done what he said he was going to do [crosstalk]…then ISIS would have already taken over all of Syria.” Congressman Gohmert isn’t the only one to point out Obama’s previous support of ISIS “rebels.” In late June, Senator Rand Paul made similar charges, telling Sean Hannity of FOX News, “One of the reason’s they’re stronger is that we have been allied with them [ISIS] in Syria; we’ve been funding Islamic rebels.” “He [Obama] saw it a few years ago as being an Arab Spring. It was radical Islam, and he kept choosing to help radical Islam,” Gohmert maintained. 	Should we be involved in these tribal wars, that have been going on since the days of Genghis Khan if not longer? Personally as long as they are fighting over deserts full of oil, their water supplies and who gets to collect the tax and who lives or dies based on their religion, we should only be providing humanitarian support for the refugees till the conflict ends. We should do this as a United UN initiative. I do not feel that the full costs should be borne by us alone. If we are ONE world where the hell are they at? What say you? A full 52% of respondents deemed his presidency a failure, while 42% called it a success. Those can be broken down further: 39% strongly feel that he's been a failure, and 22% feel strongly that he's succeeded. 	Islamic State Claims Beheading of British Hostage SITE My Opinion: Treating crimes by groups like these and hate crimes and trying to find the individual that has done such atrocity is to wipe out the evil that breeds such barbarism. As to hack the head off any human being as if slaughtering cattle is such an unbelievable barbaric act in this day and time. These are truly barbarians at the gate. No society in the 21ST Century should be living this way and none should be expected to in this day and of technology and wealth accumulated between so many that could make a difference to those that want to join the rest of the world in this century. Those that wish to live in a 2000 year old social throwback, should be contained and left to their own demons. They will feed off one another in my personal opinion, and we cannot stop it. This is basically what has been done with North Korea until recent administrations weakness on international policy making. Again IMV.
