Herein lies the major divide between Islam and all other religions. Jewish law pertains to only to Jews. Canon law only to Catholics. But the sharia exerts authority over Muslims and non-Muslims. When Christians fast for Lent or Jews fast for Yom Kippur, they do not request, then demand, then kill others for not fasting as well.

But Muslims do. And while they haven’t started setting off bombs, they are making these same demands in the West. The bombs will come.

The city had come on the terror radar for the first tine when 17 people were killed and around 60 injured in a powerful blast at German Bakery, one of Pune’s favourite eateries, on February 13, 2010.

Home-grown terror outfit Indian Mujaheddin was blamed for both the attacks.

Meanwhile, a team from Mumbai Anti-terrorism Squad has been rushed to assist an ATS team already stationed in Pune in the probe.

Sources in Mumbai ATS said it was too early to conclude whether Thursday’s explosion was the handiwork of terrorists.

TOI reports that “Police suspect Indian Mujaheddin (IM) involvement in the blast due to its similarities with explosions in Pune earlier.

They have found traces of ammonium nitrate and seized nails and ball bearings from the blast site. The same material was used in the other two blasts along with RDX in the German bakery blast in February 2010.

Police are exploring whether the latest blast is a revenge attack for the recent murder of a youth and subsequent communal violence in which Hindu Rashtra Sena members were allegedly involved.”
