Intuition Versus Logic

This mind-expanding month is rich with insights into a brighter future. You can catch glimpses of images before the rest of us -- which might even make you a bit of a prophet now. Your inclination to step outside the boundaries of rules and routines starts on February 1, when independent Mars and rebellious Uranus connect in a spicy semi-square.

Three more planets -- the Sun, Venus, and Mercury -- aspect radical Uranus on February 2 during the New Moon in Aquarius, Uranus's home sign, turning life upside down with unexpected opportunities and challenging surprises.

Restraint, though, arrives with artful Venus's entry into serious Capricorn and your 8th House of Deep Sharing on February 4. Dealing with cautious partners can ground your flights of fancy.

The Full Moon in expressive Leo on February 18 lights up your 3rd House of Communication with imagination and creativity.

However, the Sun's conjunctions throughout the month with Mercury, Mars, and whimsical Neptune spin stories that are strong on fiction and weak on facts. Do your research before making important declarations and take everything you hear with a dash of skepticism.

Keep in Mind this Month
If the gap between where you are and where you want to be is wide, remember that enjoying the journey is as important as reaching your destination.

May Wisdom and the knowledge you gained go with you,

RE: God? Gallactics? Or Man? What ARE your thoughts?

Hello Jim, Peter, and Evelyn,

Jim, I believe this is the first time I've come across this forum and I find it very interesting. I too hate deception and when it is done using a smoke screen made of Love it is even more distasteful. I know that this post will probably make me some enemies but just as I feel strongly about preaching Love (as I've tried to do here in AdlandPro) I too feel strongly in preaching the Truth. I do not claim to have all the Truth but I am seeker of it and I've enjoyed discussing the subject in a civil manner. I thought one of the best arguments posted here in your defense was the one posted by Evelyn below. I've not had a chance to go through all of the posts here in your forum yet. I've been trying to speed read through them and I'm sure I will find more material here that proves your points over those made by them of the other forum. I've enjoyed some the videos posted here (that I've had a chance to watch). I will try to re-post one of them here. My only advise is to listen to Anton's suggestion:

"In those (and ANY other matters) your curiosity Jim should be welcomed. If anyone starts the speech about ANYTHING, being polite, patient and well informed, are just main preconditions. Don`t you agree?"

Jim, I think you will get farther with your cause by heeding this advise.

Anyhow Jim, I think you got a good forum going here and I will be back to read more of the posts and to play some of the videos.
Take care my friend!

Peter and Jim it really bothers me that we have these so-called fortune tellers, I can't think of what else to call them, here in our community hell bent on deceiving people, especially the very gullible. Since this is a form of the occult I would like you to read this:

Divination, Fortune-telling, Mediums, Spiritism, Necromancy, Familiar Spirits, Wizardry, Seances, Channeling, Clairvoyance, Spirit-guides

The Bible strongly warns people not to consult mediums and spiritists for the truth, but to inquire of God (Isaiah 8:19). Clearly, if those who practiced these arts have any power (beyond being great deceivers), it is not a gift from God (as some falsely claim). The Bible condemns and forbids these practices several times (Deuteronomy 18:9-14; Isaiah 44:25; Jeremiah 27:9; 2 Kings 21:6; 23:24). Divination and Spiritism were despised practices of the heathens (Ezekiel 21:21; Isaiah 19:3; 1 Samuel 28). Scripture says that one of the reasons King Saul died was "because he consulted a medium for guidance" rather than God (1 Chronicles 10:13-14).

The Bible provides examples showing the folly and failures of those who claimed the ability to predict the future based on their own powers or those of spirits (Daniel 2:27, etc.). God calls the word of diviners “nonsense,” “lies” and “deception” for foolish people (Ezekiel 13:8; Jeremiah 14:14; Isaiah 44:25). God said, "Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!" (Ezekiel 13:3). If an Israelite lived the deceitful practice of being a medium, it was punishable by death (Leviticus 20:27). The presence of a medium or spiritist among God's people of Israel was considered a defilement (Leviticus 19:31). All these practices take people further from their Creator, the true and living God.

Following omens or signs

We are not to look to omens or “signs” to direct our lives. The Bible reprimands people for doing this. It is an “abomination” and foolishness (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Look to God and His instructions for life as provided in the Bible. To do otherwise is to foolishly deceive yourself, or allow Satan and others to deceive you.

P.S. One of the things that rubbed me wrong the most about the other forum was the posts were people claimed to being speaking as the Archangel Michael and other beings of God. It rubs me wrong because history has shown us how deceitful humans in the past have used tactics like these to deceive the weak minded into doing their bidding. Some have died because of it too like the followers of Jim Jones and the those of the Heavens Gate cult. Enough said for now...

Sincerely,
John

Though there are three planets in spontaneous Aries now, the exacting Virgo Moon restrains our expression by requiring us to endlessly analyze everything we want to do. Meanwhile, fast-talking Mercury is shut down by its tense opposition to stern Saturn.

No longer do we feel free and easy; today everything we say can have serious consequences and we are more likely to be cautious than behave impulsively. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.

May Wisdom and the knowledge you gained go with you,

How to Use Spiritual Discernment

I happened to catch this sermon this morning, on TV. I have found there are some great sermons to be found on Saturday and Sunday via the airwaves. I believe if Jesus were to walk today he would use all means of modern communications to spread his word as that was his mission. IMHO
