HI Lisa, I agree with you, but maybe more people should explain it more in that way to children! I think it wouldn't be so hurtful, and kids will feel less lied to by their parents! Thanks for sharing! Marilyn

HI Gaylia, I love your response and I totally agree with you! I have always tried to include as many people as possible to buy for at Christmas besides my family. There are so many places to find out about families in need. Adopt a family, or adopt a child or two, all these are great ways to help! Thanks for the reminder Gaylia! God Bless You! Marilyn

That's a great story Marilyn! I can remember my childhood and how I used to lay awake at night to see if I could hear him slide down our stove pipe! We had an old kerosene heater, and I always wondered how he could slide down the stove pipe and not catch on fire. My Dad used to get up on the roof and walk around right after I went to bed....making me think it was Santa waiting for me to go to sleep. I caught on to Dad's trick when I was about 9 years old, but pretended that I believed in Santa, as my Dad was having so much fun playing around on the roof, and I always got a few extra presents from Santa himself.
