Hi Linda and other forumites,
Actually, it depends on your preference for learning. Some people HATE books. I know some people who boast that they have never read a book in their whole life. (Er, it shows too!)
You, like me, are a bookworm.
Lorraine, I remember going to a live Bob Proctor seminar. In fact, I attended two. They beat the heck out of his books!
I bought the books as a back-up to the seminars.
Jim Rohn doesn't have the franchise on this subject either. Check out Napoleon Hill, Maxwell Maltz, Viktor Frankl and Shad Helmstetter to name just a few.
I have 100's of these works (books, manuals, tapes, videos, presentations etc) in my personal library and I learn all sorts of things from all of them.
Heh, if you read enough of them you will surprise yourself one day when you "blurt" something out and think: "Heck, where did that come from?" Then you start to think that way and all of a sudden you see and hear other people and begin to wonder why they are so negative.
If you have never been to a live seminar or can't attend for whatever reason then try to get a video seminar. I think the courses and programs definitely have a place. But I am biased. I have devoured this stuff for many years and now have a website devoted to it.
Education does not end when you leave school. It should be a lifelong process.
Sorry Linda - you nudged my HOT button! LOL.
