Peter, the only comment you made that I'll dignify with a response it this -- on federal employment, we are much more vulnerable than just getting in trouble for a midemeanor or felony. All we have to do is get ourselves involved with an "...impropirety or even an appearance of impropriety..."
As I indicated I was going to get a lwayer to review this stuff for me. However, given the nature that this forum has taken, I think I'm too close to an appearance of a problem, based on the public perceptins you've created, so I'm going to dispense with all such programs, I don' need to wait for a legal review.
Until you made that post there, I felt ok because I go under an annual review for potential conflict of interest each year, because, I deal with a LOT of money, programs and the like. On my paperwork, I'm required to list ALL financial affilaitions. I listed all such programs that we have been discussing, including 12dailypro, and would've heard something long ago if there were a problem of an actual legal nature.
However, given the nature of what you and Linda have asserted here on your forum, that's all I need to make a decision. I don't like it and I may lose into the hundreds of dollars, but that's the way it goes I guess.
Having said all that, I now deem AdlandPro to be too risky to be involved with, because as a federal employyee, all it takes is public criticism, especially in writing like this, justified or not, and I've got a serious problem to contend with.
I would advise all public employees to think twice about joining AdlandPro at this point in time -- these so-called Advisors have way too much power and too little qualification to be molding and shaping public opinion like this.
take care, no hard feelings.
