LOL Gary - 1,000th post. Congrats and thank you.

Hi there down under! ========================================== I can still interact with people whose opinions on certain subjects are diametrically opposed to mine. I don't think less of anybody who doesn't agree with me. Heck, I'm not always right - just 99.9% of the time - ONLY JOKING! ========================================== LOL. Too funny. As F. Scott Fitzgerald said; The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function. I can see why people get into these. I also know why I don't. lol By the way, your post was the 1,000th post to my "internet profit" forums. Thank you. To you, and to everyone else that has helped make this forum popular and keep it growing. : ) Linda

Wow! A 1000 posts already? Where does the time go. Linda, when you provide the content you do for your forum it can't help but be popular. It also helps that we have some great people here that are participating in the forum. I know I for one have learned more in the past few weeks than I have in the past few years when it comes to business on the internet. Not being one to belabour points I'm usually short on posts as well. I see no need to say something that has already been said. I think the next 1000 will come a lot quicker!

Well howdy up 'n' over, I did say that last bit in jeste - the 99.9% part - but when something interests me I seek information on it from every source and angle that I can find. On the net I have to substantiate something from several sites to be convinced of initial credibility because as I have noted and you have also found, Linda, just because somebody put something on the net doesn't mean it should assume Gospel status. I include my posts in that category too. I remember reading some time ago that some irresponsible idiot put a bomb formula on the net but deliberately re-arranged the order of the ingredients so that they would blow up in the faces of those constructing it. Several young guys did just that. They paid dearly for trusting an evil formula. I have never forgotten that. Evil abounds everywhere in this world. The net is no exception. In fact, it is a perfect place to spread wickedness virtually anonymously. That is why I have been contributing here. It is a GREAT discussion forum! A good place to exchange ideas and thoughts. People don't have to agree with me (heck, you should see what is going on with some of the stuff I wrote on the MLM thread) but I hope they respect my (and other people's) rights to have a point of view. At the end of the day I hope that I can put a case, explain my motives and yet still be able to call a person who disagrees with me a friend, or at least walk away maintaining respect. I don't necessarily agree with many of the comments made here either but I am most unwilling to go to war with anybody over such an issue. What's the point? And Winston - your comments about this - just for the record, I do agree with! LOL. Gary Simpson

Gary, you're not in a position of leadership at ALP, and so i shouldn't have included your name in that long post -- would've corrected that, but since it isn't my form there's no edit button. I did enjoy our "banter" take care

Peter, the only comment you made that I'll dignify with a response it this -- on federal employment, we are much more vulnerable than just getting in trouble for a midemeanor or felony. All we have to do is get ourselves involved with an "...impropirety or even an appearance of impropriety..." As I indicated I was going to get a lwayer to review this stuff for me. However, given the nature that this forum has taken, I think I'm too close to an appearance of a problem, based on the public perceptins you've created, so I'm going to dispense with all such programs, I don' need to wait for a legal review. Until you made that post there, I felt ok because I go under an annual review for potential conflict of interest each year, because, I deal with a LOT of money, programs and the like. On my paperwork, I'm required to list ALL financial affilaitions. I listed all such programs that we have been discussing, including 12dailypro, and would've heard something long ago if there were a problem of an actual legal nature. However, given the nature of what you and Linda have asserted here on your forum, that's all I need to make a decision. I don't like it and I may lose into the hundreds of dollars, but that's the way it goes I guess. Having said all that, I now deem AdlandPro to be too risky to be involved with, because as a federal employyee, all it takes is public criticism, especially in writing like this, justified or not, and I've got a serious problem to contend with. I would advise all public employees to think twice about joining AdlandPro at this point in time -- these so-called Advisors have way too much power and too little qualification to be molding and shaping public opinion like this. take care, no hard feelings.
