Linda, I don't mean to sound "stalkerish", but almost everyone that asks me about online marketing and promotion I send over to Adland to check out what you have to say. I very quickly realized that the best advice I have gotten has come from you and Peter. Actually, I have had two people contact me about signing up to be consultants under me and I have told both to check out your forums. Anything you suggest, I'll give a whirl.

Linda, One quick question, how do I insert the "thread" into my emails? Where do I get the "thread" from?

Heather, I can help with that. In your address bar that brought you to this thread you will see an address that starts; http://community.adlandpro.com/forumAddPost.aspx?PostID=etc If you just stick your cursor up there and click once, it should highlight the whole address, then it's a simple matter of copy and paste. Every time you visit any page, anywhere, that page has it's unique address, that will always be the one that is showing in the address bar. Hope that helps. Bob

Re: Auto-Surf program - Honestly :-)

Same here Gary -- and ICBMs are too heavy to carry around. Our discussion has raised some great qualitative issues that I'll be pondering, for sure. I noted this morning that EstrixSurf is closing down. They were a relatively hi yield program that fall into the category of programs that last for a few months and close. I was thinking about it last nite. One way to avoid the Ponzie trap might be to only consider programs that are at least one year old. The pattern seems to be that autosurfs that rely too heavily on Ponzi fold in four to six months. Here are a few links for anyone interested in doing more research on autosurfs. http://www.autosurfcity.com/ http://www.talkgold.com/forum/ http://autosurfmonitor.com/ http://www.autosurfcentral.com/best-paid-autosurf-programs.html http://www.autosurfcentral.com/autosurf-reviews.html http://home.casema.nl/peterhoek/scam.html

Greer, Good post. I have had my share of online experience in trying to make some money surfing. The time and effort was not worth the results and it didn't help the family relationship. With lots of good reading from this community I realized that it was more important to stay focused on what I know best. Now I can have some fun and making money is the by-product of my playing. :-) Something to share: It wasn't long ago that I had websites with Google Adsense. I'm sure you know about these, the internet is polluted with these ads. Guess what happened to me? I accumalated some money in an account and when it was within a dollar to issuing me a cheque I got an email saying my account was cancelled because I didn't follow the terms and condition. From my end it was honest usage and in fact I didn't generate the credits they said was against the terms and condition. A lesson learnt and now I don't like Google Ads. Good to see you are an investor. I invite you to post in some of my forums. Checkout my sig link folks, the company President made an important news release this moning.
