Linda, More info please! I'd like to SEE what you've done with your hobby sites. A picture is worth 1000 words. Where are the links? Cheri

Part 2 is a creative way to make the time you spend productive. On the other hand, it looks like you could spend more time on the keyboard than having a life. I can easily have a life and show off Amsoil at the same time. Some examples might be construction contractor connections, race track, Maytag repairman, the dentist, church bus, neighbor with a boat and business card draw at a restaurant. These may not be as productive as what you can do with the 'net with a web site or a blog but it gets you out of the house. Perhaps once you've got yourself established on the 'net then you can have a life. I am experiencing an increased disdain for the type of business that realistically does not have a product other than a web site that is presented as the product and costs a chunk of change that you hope you will not be left holding the bag. Sure some claim they produce thousands of dollars in revenue but it's no different than a glorified chain letter.

Linda, This is a great Forum Topic. I almost missed it. What I did when I built my website was to list all my interests and experiences and they are all there on the website. My point as I developed the website was to teach the concept that each thing could be a niche and a standalone business. It was fun to develop as each topic was about something I love, such as: Reading (Novels, Personal Development, Gospel Teaching, and almost any interesting topic). Music (I can play piano, and accordian, but only good enough for my own enjoyment.:) ) My favorite music is: Rock and Roll of the 50's and 60's, Elvis, Country, Big Band, and Gospel Music. Love playing and working with the computer and the internet. There is so much to research and learn here. So many new friends to develop. I love to Learn. And I love to Teach and Share what I have Learned. Digital Photography, Genealogy, ScrapBooking, Writing, Cooking, Eating, Travel, Cruising, and many many more things. Linda, this is so good. Teaching how to take these things we love and are interested in and developing websites and blogs for them. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Cheri: Sorry I'm late catching up on some of these threads. ====================== More info please! I'd like to SEE what you've done with your hobby sites. A picture is worth 1000 words. Where are the links? ====================== Sure... enjoy. My "hobby" sewing site is at: http://www.sew-simple.com The pet site - which is my daughter's, but I help with, is almost done. There's a couple of pages that still need content. It still has a Halloween article on it, too. Tomorrow is update day. lol. Anyway, it's at; http://www.theTummyrubClub.com Keep an eye on that one to see it grow. There's tons of great stuff for pets for Christmas that we'll be adding, too. Point being, we're having fun because they're hobbies - and the sites are actually bringing in some $$, too. : ) Linda
