To mom: Why don't you walk up there more often? Uphill? Oh boo hoo. Ever try riding a bike up that hill? It ain't easy. And when I saw that log of cookie dough in the fridge, I thought "Are we having eel for dinner?" Yes, I thought the dough looked like an eel, get off my back. The cookies were delicious, though. They looked the same coming out as they did going in. Too graphic? Oh boo hoo. lol.

Kathleen, I tried responding to your post but my internet connection was mostly off today.  If we had room here, I would write you a scenario of my making friendship bread.  It was hilarious!!  Yes, I laugh at myself often and I had an audience (Wilson).

Baking can be very funny sometimes!!

Thanks for the entertainment.

Thanks, Sara!
It sounds like a lot of people have been having computer problems lately.

JUST TELL US!!  I have some recipes memorized, mostly for cakes and stuff.

My sister makes something called "Monkey Bread" made from 2 or 3 containers of Pillsbury popnfresh rolls chopped into small cubes, then put into a big plastic bag and shaken with a stick of melted butter and cinnamon and raisins and nuts. Then baked in a bundt pan, and pulled apart into chunks.  Hey, I know how she does it and I've never done it, she goes into detail about everything and REAL BUTTER, I remember that.

Hi Kathleen,

Monkey bread is so good.  We here in Pa just use cinnamon and sugar and yes butter.  You know it isn't good without butter.  Ask Paula Dean, she is the butter use.

I love monkey bread, I would make it because I don't know when to quit.  It is so good it is is just warm. With a good cup of coffee.
