It was a LOG all right!  They were oval shaped, I just want chocolate, the shape doesnt matter.

Hi Myrna,

I didn't even make much mess, i was going to make cookies on webcam but lost the connection.  So I was still not sloppy as usual, only made a small pile of cocoa-dust on the table, and lost a few dozen oats on the floor, and of course the mixer-beaters left dripping, I said, that will only drip a little but then left it dripping into a bigger pile than expected.  But i don't think chocolate cookie-batter is a mess, it's just part of the tasting process.  The kids and husband are eating more of them, surprisingly enough now there are probably only 15 left of the original 50.  I had 4 for breakfast, only planning to have 2, then 3, I was sitting there with a full ziploc bag, full bags of food are never safe with me, the remaining goodies always give me the message that they will taste better than the one I just ate, so I have to find out.

AL LOOOL, I can`t laugh too much.
